Very clean, very spacious house close to the airport. Daniel was a really kind host. The house is spacious with a nice terrace in front. Everything is super clean, super comfy beds, a fully equipped kitchen with coffee, tea, and everything necessary. Highly recommended, I will stay here again if I have an early flight. Thank you, Daniel!

Malaga Airport (AGP) Information
Location and Transport
Located 3 miles (5 kilometres) southwest of Málaga city centre, Málaga Airport connects to over 60 countries worldwide and welcomes roughly 16 million passengers every year. To get there, travellers have a choice of transport options. There’s the Fuengirola-Málaga Cercanías railway service, located opposite the airport, departing around every 20 minutes. Or there’s the Málaga airport bus service, Línea Express, which circulates between Málaga city centre and the airport. You can also take a taxi from Málaga airport to Málaga for a minimum fare of EUR 15.
Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities
There are several hotels near Málaga airport, all offering a shuttler service, and there’s plenty to do inside before takeoff. The Exhibition Hall houses temporary exhibits by local artists, while the airport museum lets travellers visit the airport’s original (and now disused) control tower. Other available services include baggage wrapping, currency exchange and free WiFi. There’s also a large retail and dining area.
Terminal Information
Málaga Airport has three terminals all joined together under the same roof, so there is no need for a shuttle bus.

The hostel was very clean, the bed was comfortable and private, bathroom was same.
I found it hard to open Key Box outside the hostel to access key for entry. I also found the code lock hard to see. Only for a very nice Russian lady, staying in the hostel coming to my aid, I wonder would I have got in at all.
For those reasons, I will not book The Welcome Hostel on my return journey.

Really like Malaga, it's a beautiful city with great weather, some amazing historical sites, beaches, beautiful waterfront, parks, etc. The old town is great for walking, dining, enjoying. The area has lots of day trips you can take. Have been here a couple times and it's always enjoyable.

I'm keen walker and being able to walk along beach every morning is brilliant. Even in November the weather was decent expect for couple of rainy days. My favourite place is Puerto marina it's full of nice places to eat or to have few drinks. Taxis are cheap to use if fancy going further to malaga ,Fuengirola or designer outlet just outside malaga you can use the train. Located in arroyo de la miel which also runs frequently from airport 🛫

A real town which we loved.
A real town which we loved. Connectivity is great with easy access to Malaga and a connecting station to all of Spain. We took the train to Cordoba for a few days- very easy and not expensive.
Loved Malaga with its variety of eating experiences. For the first time, we visited El Palo- will not be the last!

I’d say it was more of a quieter resort, plenty of bars and restaurants, but that’s about it for nightlife! Buses and trains are clean and reasonable to travel up and down the coast for days out! It’s easy for anyone in a wheelchair to navigate around Torremolinos as there aren’t many steps and it’s mainly flat and the centre is pedestrianised as well, the shops are many and full of bargains! I don’t think it would be ideal for young children though, there’s the beach and a water park a few miles away, but young ones could be bored with the lack of activities for them!

Small, local town mainly unknown by tourists.
Has everything you need, plenty of bars & restaurants & surrounded by countryside & mountains.
You need a car if staying in Pinos de Alhaurin as it really is a long walk into town/supermarket etc.
Great place for a short break or base to tour the area!

Never disappoints
Never disappoints
I’ve been visiting for years and every visit is different: sometimes more foodie oriented, sometimes more culture or beach bum but always the market and visiting my favourite little places for coffee or a beer or mingling with the locals and having supper.
Just to mention a few: bar paco, bar Nevado, taberna Alaska , tomasiento… sadly must say that rocamar disappointed this time…. Unfriendly, poorly prepared food… very disappointing after visiting many years
