A beautiful place, apart from the location on a separate property among golden fields and in the greenery, the house and the surroundings are decorated with a lot of spirit, rustic and picturesque, which makes the stay a truly special experience. The hosts are very nice, sociable, but they don't want to bother you. I asked in advance for the breakfast for my husband's 50th birthday, I only thought a better breakfast, but they prepared a big surprise, a special rich breakfast outside the offer. They are very approachable and they make sure that your stay is very pleasant. All recommendations from us.

There was no Reception or any staff, but there was also no need for staff....
Room was Clean, there was a kitchen in case i needed some ice in the summer heat.
The garden outside exceptionnel.
All in all a very good stay, i have been here several times, and will definitely come again.

Whilst it does not have the charm of Helsingor, Roskilde has many attractions, especially the cathedral with its many excellent royal tombs, the town square, and the Viking Ships Museum which introduces the visitor not only to these remarkable survivors, but to the entire Viking world.

Lovely quiet place at the end of a dead road.
Lovely quiet place at the end of a dead road. Only traffic passing by is for 2 other houses.
Beach and nature right outside the door.
Copenhagen only half an hour away by train. Shopping mall less than 2 km away. Several supermarkeds in the area.
We had a car to get around. If you are there without a car you would have to walk between 1-2 km to get to the train station and shopping

It is a traditional old kro and the staff were also long time employees. We did not like the smokey restaurant so drove into Roskilde for the evening meal but breakfast at Viby Kro was very good. The Kro was easy to find.

A lot of noise made it impossible to sleep, also missing curtain made the room full of sun in the morning. There were no hooks or storage for clothes nor luggage. No curtain around shower making the bathroom all wet, and no ventilation.

The hotel is clean and very close to the train station so, it was very easy to get to central station which gives you access to all the trains that will get you to where you want to go.
You can catch a train direct from the airport to Tastrup train station and walk less than 5 minutes to the hotel.

Not much around. It's a shopping centre. There is greve strand (beach) nearby but we didn't go. 30 min drive to Copenhagen. The kebab in the shopping centre was quite good but not many other places to eat.

I traveled by train from Copenhagen to do a 3 day hike. Koge was such a pleasant surprise - gorgeous architecture, good little hotel close to the market square, lots of amenities (shops/restaurants). Took a bus from train station (get your bus and train tickets in a 7 Eleven) to furthest point to hike to Stevens Klimt. Had to return there that night to connect onto another train to Mons Island - amazing hiking spot! Koge is not a touristy town so really nice to see the Danes doing their market shopping on a saturday morning too. Great restaurants too.

I've been to Roskilde for the festival every years since 1992 and also as a tourist off-festival. It's a cosy small Danish town with lots of restaurants and pubs + few sightseeing locations like the cathedral and the Viking museum

As a town, Greve has a lot to offer anyone visiting.
As a town, Greve has a lot to offer anyone visiting. The town centre has supermarkets and a central bus station. So if someone wants to travel without driving. They hopped on a bus and I saw a new bus stop being built on several roads.
