Very interesting old building, nice cozy room. Had nice coffee and cakes just opposite the hotel. Abbey was next to the hotel.

The hotel is located in a quiet and rural area, which was a perfect match after a long road. Our apartment was spacious and comfortable with everything included. The host proposed different options and provided us with a really tasty and hearty breakfast

The hotel is very quaint.
The hotel is very quaint. The host was extremely welcoming and friendly. The hotel definitely caters to guests with dogs, : ). Dinner was probably one of the best I've had in Germany. Gransdorf is a beautiful valley village with beautiful surroundings and a great place to walk dogs.

Bergweiler is a quiet village with no facilities, but Wittlich is a short drive away with everything one might need. Marked cycle routes go through the village, although be prepared for hills! Also several good footpaths across fields and through woods. Lovely views over the surrounding countryside. Overall the area is very good for cycling and walking.

This little valley does feel a bit like the place that time forgot and I mean that in a good way. Absolutely no motorway noise to bother you! I was told that there is a local population of 120. I was traveling for work so didn't have the time to look around the place more. My phone was dead in the valley but the hotel had WiFi. I really liked the hotel. For me this would be somewhere to bring the wife without the children for a quiet weekend, something I hope to do one day. The restaurant turned out a splendid evening meal for me and a very decent breakfast too.
