Tyron the receptionist was exceptionally helpful regarding problem with trains from munich airport. No trains operating from the Airport due to engineering works. Communication from airport and trainline pathetic. Tyron checked his app and gave us clear instructions on getting a bus to the Visitor centre to catch the train

My flight into Munich was delayed, causing me to miss my connecting flight, and had to wait till the next day. Looked up hotels and found the Moxy Hotel near the airport. I have stayed at different Moxy's in the past, but this one was great! Nice accommodations, the breakfast was very fulfilling, and they had all of these games (foosh ball table, pool table, and others.) For being frustrated with missing my flight, Staying at the Moxy definitely improved my mood and disposition.

I was looking for a hotel near Munich airport in the first part of the day. Even though the check-in usually starts at 15:00, I was provided with my room by 12:00 pm. The staff was very kind. The room is clean, big, and well-equipped, it has a balcony with a nice view. The Internet connection is great (if you need to work for a little bit). The bed and pillows are super comfy. You can also have a buffet breakfast at the hotel. The hotel is located in an area with a few restaurants nearby for dinner. In order to get to the airport, the hotel has a shuttle-bus option for 7 euros.

I was there because two Lufthansa agents decided to cancel my second leg of my trip home to Canada... So, I booked the stay a few minutes before, mainly for the price and for the location (I didn't want to take any additional risks, nor spend time visiting Munich - I was dead tired). I needed a basic thing to have a good night sleep: a nice shower and good bedding. I had that, so I'm happy. The lobby has a restaurant, a bar and a self-serve food bar - so that was cool, too. Also, the hotel offers a bus shuttle to the Airport (10 Euros), which is better (as of price) than a taxi or Uber... The staff were A1, although I didn't have many interactions with them, what I had felt good.

I thought it was a wise idea to stay near the airport this trip. I usually stay in city center. It was a poor choice. Transportation was difficult, expensive, and time consuming and except for the water sport place, there is nothing around the area. the only exciting place available was the market (grocer). Munich is great.

It's a suburb next to the airport. You can get your basic last minute shopping done and get petrol for your rental car before returning it. Interestingly, there is a surf sport place with artificial waves in case you want to do some surfing.

This is a lovely hotel located about a 12 minute drive from the Munich airport. The rooms are clean, with comfortable beds. The restaurant next door is very convenient and serves delicious food. A grocery store is located across the street, less than a 5 minute walk away. We would definitely recommend.

Great place for a short stay being close to the airport. Amazing friendly helpful staff. Restaurant meals are fantastic - both dinner and the breakfast.. Location easy to get from the train and short bus ride. Very clean and well maintained.

The town is small and industrialized. There were few options close to the hotel for dining, although we were surprised with the American menu at the LookOut restaurant at the artificial wave generator at the SurfTown facility, within walking distance of the hotel.
