I went to Erfurt for a concert which was taking place on Messe and the hotel was 3 minutes away on foot. That was very nice.
Of course if someone would like to go to visit the city center needs to use a car or the tram.
The tram station is right outside of the hotel.
So overall it is a very nice hotel in a nice location.

Some great medieval history and a nice little town. Ideal for staying in the region and a simple train/bus ride to Buchenwald and Weimar. The markets were good and we had some excellent meals too.
The best coffee in Erfurt is at Epitome Cafe in Fish Market Platz .. by far the best coffee in Erfurt.

Erfurt is an attractive city that is great for wandering around, but also with some interesting cultural attractions to visit. It's also well connected by train to other places (e.g. Weimar, Jena, Gotha, Eisenach), making it an ideal base for exploring the area.
