We booked this apartment last minute (3pm on the day we checked in) as another apartment cancelled very last minute. The owner could not have been more helpful. He messaged me straight away to say he would get the apartment ready as soon as possible. He picked us up and brought us to the apartment first so we could drop our bags and then phoned when the apartment was ready. He also showed us the way to the airport on the way as we were flying the next morning. An absolute lifesaver.

Everything was good, the hostel, the staff, the tour, we really enjoy staying there. The kitchen is nice and well equipped, the staff is helpful and nice. The hostel is really pretty and clean.

The apartment is excellent, very clean, spacious, quiet, and with a beautiful view. It has a kitchen and two modern bathrooms, as well as a gym and a pool with an amazing view of Neiva. The location is great, close to the airport and the shopping mall. It’s a bit far from the city center, but you can always take a taxi. Parmenio and Haidi are very kind and helpful hosts, super friendly and welcoming. We will definitely come back to visit them.

There is basically not much to see in Neiva from a turistic...
There is basically not much to see in Neiva from a turistic point of view. They have an archeological museum but it is closed at the weekends. The waterfront is pretty badly maintained and not much of the river water can be seen. Some of the food vendors in the market take advantage of the foreigners and double the prices. Unless you are really interested in seeing what this city looks like, it is not worth it. The place is hot, with temperatures of 32-34 in the day and 22-23 during the night.

Provincial capital, strategic location for excursions to desert and San Agustin. Good airport with many regional connections.
Really not much to to do there. Busy downtown area like most Colombian cities, few things to see by the riverside. 1 day is more than enough. Climate hot and humid.

Neiva looks sad, abandoned, and dangerous. There is nothing interesting to see. Stay away. I stayed there one night and it was too long. Certain hotels show pictures that do not represent reality. Don’t fall for it.
