The place is very close to the airport (5 min walk) which makes it perfect if you have an early flight or you arrive very late at the airport. Mrs Nancy water for me until 12.00 in the evening and she brought me fruits in the morning although breakfast was not included:) she was super kind. The room was spacious and the bathroom was separated and very clean !

Loved the accommodation. Just a few minutes walk to/from the airport so ideal for late or early flights.
The room was spotless and the bed comfortable. There was no noise from flights despite the location. But what made it all even better was the hospitality and warmth shown by Lenis. I felt like I was with a friend or long lost relative. He helped with all queries and requests. I didn't want to leave.

Beautiful small and friendly hotel complex which is always pristine and immaculate. Attention to detail and personalised service for a small hotel is outstanding and well worth visiting this hotel over bigger hotels in Cartagena. Grat pool area if you fancy stay away from busy city centre. Breakfast was simple but tasty and well prepared. The whole team here are incredible! If you are visiting Cartagena and you’re in doubt book this straight away without hesitation. It is only 10min walk from the airport, brilliant location and 5 minutes by taxi to Muralla de Cartagena.

It's a mix of old & new & has it's own charm.
It's a mix of old & new & has it's own charm. A little on the touristy side. We stayed for three weeks but Cartagena could be seen comfortably in five to seven days. We didn't go to any of the islands or do any excursions. The humidity is very high. Dress appropriately. The weather changes rapidly, carry an umbrella. The vendors are everywhere & can be annoying at times, but people need to do what they need to do. Traffic is a problem at peak times. The people are so nice & always willing to help or answer questions. We always felt very safe. Next time we will venture to some of the more remote areas outside of the city.

Hotels are pretty isolated, so you may not go to another restaurant in case you don't like yours. The beach on the 'more popular' part are facing the industry harbour and the rafinery, which impede the experience.

The city is so beautiful in so many ways. There's a lot to see and do. There are some really good restaurants.
The only (important) drawback is the number of street vendors anywhere you go. In some places it's ok, in others it's not nice. But it's part of the experience.
If you're going to do some island hopping, compare prices and always ask confirmation of what is actually included in the package.
Little tip : try the chocolate beer at the Chocolate Museum

Tierra Bomba was a short 10-minute boat ride from Cartegena. It was situated on a long private beach with plenty of daybeds to choose from. The rooms were spacious and close to the pool/beach/restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious. On our final night, we upgraded to the Private Villa with a Private pool and it was WELL WORTH IT! The private courtyard was beautiful and the pool was refreshing. The room was huge, comfortable and came with an outdoor bathroom.

A vibrant town that parties til late. Lots of shops and restaurants. 3 days was the right amount of time. Prices can be high in shops and restaurants as it’s a popular cruise stop. Everyone is hustling selling stuff inc raps! But just be sensible and you should enjoy your time. Free walking tour was great and got to see more than just the old town with guide Legacy from n experience via guru walks.
