Location is perfect and the hotel is clean, stuff great and food is great too. Amira is the nicest person ever and people like that are making always the huge difference comparing to other. It was 6am and not just that she was nice like oders in hotel, but she went extra mile when she saw that I am in a rush trying to grab some food before the long day ahead- offers to make me coffee to go. Maybe small thing but meant a lot! I will choose this hotel always when in Zurich. Thank you Amira.

The staff at checkin and restaurant were all awesome!
I interacted most with Paula and she was nice. The part that got me the most was forgetting my gold ring in the room at checkout, got the London before realizing this, I then called our cab driver in Zurich to go ask the hotel for it and it was handed over to him all wrapped up in an envelope after few confirmations. Thank you and please keep this going !

This is our 2nd stay in this hotel - it was very cozy, comfortable, clean and nice play before our long flight. I particularly liked a airport shuttle option - transfer from airport to hotel is free of charge, while from hotel just a small fee 5 CHF. Hotel front agent Mrs Krushelnytska was extremely helpful afterwards when we contacted hotel because of some forgotten stuff in room, can't say enough how grateful and thankful we are. We will always book here.

As the largest international airport in Switzerland and the main hub of Swiss International Air, Zürich Airport sees around 28 million passengers pass through its gates every year. It is located 8 miles (13 kilometres) north of central Zürich, close to the municipalities of Kloten, Rümlang and Obfikon. The easiest way to access the airport is by train, with a frequent Zürich S-Bahn service, as well as direct InterRegio, InterCity and Eurocity links. There are 13 trains an hour to Zürich Hauptbahnhof, Zürich's central train station.

Kloten is just a dormitory town for the airport.
Kloten is just a dormitory town for the airport. Not much there just some restaurants and supermarkets. I was there because it was near the airport. There are rail links to Zurich which can be reached in less than 30mins so easy to visit.

I do not normally give a bad review of a property but this Hotel has some issues that need addressed.
Lots of construction around the Movenpick Hotel. Very noisy.
They did provide pickup and drop-off at the airports.
The food was not very good and either restaurant. There was food debris all over the floor of both restaurants. We were at this hotel for two nights and the floors in the eating areas were never swept. Their was a bad odor in the check in area every day...like sewer..?
Both of us had the hamburger from the bar service and both of the sandwiches were undercooked. Both sandwiches had a bad flavor of
maybe poor quality beef..
The lighting the our room was poor as several lamps had very very low wattage going to them so it was hard to see.

My wife and I would have loved to enjoy Zurich but we only used the airport for arrival and departure. We rented a car to enjoy Switzerland and I can tell you that the roads were nice and well documented. We also found the airport to be efficient and the staff very friendly.

We were not there long enough for a fair evaluation. Check-in in the middle of the night should never take so long, particularly when your stay has been both pre-booked and pre-paid.
We were exhausted and short on time with no one at fault. We arrived safely and needed rest, not standing in line to get a room after more than ten hours of continuous travel.
The room was clean.
We were unable to actually check out the surrounding area to see what besides hotels may be available to enjoy or explore. Another time, perhaps.

Very convenient to visit Zurich (10 mins to the main station by train and trains and 15 mins to Zurich airport by bus/tram). All public means of transport are on-time, reliable, and very often. Shops, restaurants, bakeries - all within a walking distance.

Lufingen is a nice small village near Zurich Airport. The surroundings villages can be easily reached on foot, with nice walking paths and views. It's a really good transit place if you're travelling via Zurich Airport, highly recommended if you like a quiet stay outside of city.

Kloten is very central to many things, bus ride takes about 8-10 minutes to the airport, and with the train S7 about 15 minutes into the main station in Zurich with many onward connections. Kloten is also a great place to start walks in many directions. There are also 2 well stocked supermarkets (Coop and Migros) in the city center.

It is close to the air port and hence with tram you reach the airport without any taxi service and you enter the check in area and if you arrive after plane landing , the stop is at the airport and reach the hotel at the second stop called Unterriiet Glattburg

Wallisellen is a very good destination if you want visit Zurich and don´t want to pay for an expensive hotel in center. The connections to the city are very good. The train comes every few minutes. Also the restaurants there are cheaper than in Zurich but the same quality.
