We liked everything! It's magnificent place to stay and enjoy the beauty of Lago Maggiore. Surroundings are very beautiful with a lot of flowers. The apartment is very cozy, you feel like in Italy, only without air conditioner. Very beautiful dishes, big kitchen, even longchairs outside. Everything for good rest. The only thing is it's better to come here by car, as it is high, but the view is worth it. Want to go back again. Thank you!

The accommodation was very easy to get to by public transport. We mostly used the train, but there are also bus lines 5 minutes away from the house. The room was perfect for a few days stay with a comfortable bed. The small fridge and strong fan were very useful. The host was very helpful and friendly. The house is in a quiet area, no traffic noise.

Beautiful modern hotel. Preferred this to the older accommodation in Locarno. Lovely rooms, great food and a short (free) train ride to and from Locarno.

We felt so welcome. The location was perfect for the train station and bus to Tenero. Breakfast was good. Good restaurants nearby. We will be back.

Probably the best place to explore the Ticino area.
Probably the best place to explore the Ticino area. There are many sights in Lucarno and others are within 30 minutes by car (Bellinzona, Ascona, Isole di Brissago, Valle Verzasca). Those who like the Alps are 50 minutes away by cable car to Robieia, where they can spend the whole day in the area of high mountain lakes. It is definitely a good idea to visit the Italian town of Cannobio to enjoy the atmosphere of Italy, including real Italian pizza.

The entire area around Lago Maggiore is full of things to explore. Locarno is a nice town. Italy is not far away. It's overall the classical Swiss mix of Mountain and lake and an astonishing beauty! It's easy to go around and as usual in Suisse, it's very safe!
