The whole house is (air)travel themed and I spent an incredible lovely night with my host not only opening the door but her whole life to me. Obviously this was in no way obtrusive but left to my own choice in accepting the invitation! I came as a stranger and parted as a friend- and will most certainly be back ; )) Merci.....

The Ibis Geneve Aeroport hotel is located in Cointrin, 10 minutes drive from the centre of Geneva, close to the international airport and the Palexpo exhibition centre. We arrived the airport and walked to the hotel, and took the hotel shuttle bus to the airport the next morning. The location of the hotel is very convenient for transferring overnight. We also stay another two nights on our way back. The hotel gave us the city transit pass so we took bus to visit the city.

Shuttle to airport is just 5 mins and every 20 mins. You also recieve free public transport pass. From airport you should take bus to WHO , UN and fair(palexpo) easily. City center is 22 minutes by bus. Reception staff was so welcoming and helpful. Rooms clean and warm.

Everything would have been perfect except for the faulty air-conditioning. I suggest you check regularly to make sure that all amenities are in order before renting out the rooms. We had an over-all nice stay

Geneva is clean, beautiful and has extremely nice people. I regularly got lost lol, which gave me a lot of opportunities to talk to random people. I started even getting lost on purpose. The trains and busses are incredible and always on time. I visited this other pub which had like 100 tvs haha, incredible. On my last day, we went to McDonald's, where i had my best ever burger. Then we went to a local bar where we played games, then we closed it with a nightclub. We partied till 4 am haha, and i had to be at the airport by 6 haha...legendary last day. My only regret is that, I didnt have the chance to explore the city more. I fell in love with Geneva, and will definitely be going back in the future

Just another cheaper alternative for Geneve on the French side. It's rather suitable to those, who need the airport, for all the rest you better choose Annemasse, which is connected much better with Geneve and has more to provide on its own either.

I booked on the basis of easiest access to return a hire car to the French side of Geneva Airport and cost for three adults to stay overnight prior to an early morning flight. This hotel exceeded our expectations in what it delivers for the price. Friendly and professional mask-wearing staff (I believe Katalina?) who upgraded our room in respect of my mobility issues and (I believe Katarina?) who gave us a wonderful recommendation to a local restaurant for the best pizza ever. The room was clean and spacious enough for three adults, with one double and one single bed. Good shower, a window which opened, a desk, clothes cupboard. Based on previous comments re room size we were pleasantly surprised as the room, the caring and professional service, a very secure gated carpark etc all exceeded our expectations. Airport is a 5 minute drive away. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Our visit was specifically to go to Christmas markets. The main one in Geneva was lovely, we were there during the day so it wasn’t overly busy and could walk around it with no problem. Geneva itself was easy to navigate, the Jet d’eau was absolutely stunning. It’s a beautiful city. We booked a train trip to Montreaux for their Christmas market and this was the highlight of our trip. The views were amazing and the market itself was huge, very impressive. So glad we added this on.

Nice location. Quiet at night. Staff were nice. Room was clean and very functional. Breakfast was also great with really good selection. If you rent a car, the parking was suitable. Very nice surroundings and very convenient to go to the city.
