Clean, quiet, onsite restaurant with tasty food (and amazing gelato!). Varied and filling breakfast. Fantastic, friendly staff. You also get a free travel card which takes you into Bern centre, which is 16 minutes on the bus. We stayed in the new block which has great air conditioning. Also, they have a variety of pillows for you to choose from, which was a nice touch. Overall an extremely relaxing hotel which made our holiday perfect. Very sad to leave, but can’t wait to return next year!

Nicely located place with all the things you may need. The room is relatively small (we had a violet one), but still very comfortable. One bathroom per two rooms. Nice and friendly hosts. You get a city transport ticket included in your booking for the duration of your stay (and some extra hours after it, probably till the end of your check-out day)

Basic breakfast with bread, cheese, jam (homemade) and orange juice was enough to get the day off to a good start. Both tea and coffee was available with pods. Little garden area to sit in for breakfast and evening drink was ideal. Location literally next to the railway station was ideal giving easy access to both Thun and Bern without need of the car. Hosts couldn't have been more helpful or friendly, giving advice on what to see in the area.

Everything; the staff were incredibly helpful ,kind and talkative, the shower and toilets are clean and very nice, the kitchen has everything you could possibly need including spices and coffee, our room was so cozy and picturesque and it is a 1 min walk away from a train station

Nice little town just outside of capital city Bern. A train takes you direct. Be careful not to get off at Worb SBB but Worb Dorf, otherwise you will end up like me and having to walk 30mn in complete darkness down a long country road.

A stay in a local hotel gives you free access to excellent public transport covering quite a wide area, including the renowned Zentrum Paul Klee, designed by world famous architect Renzo Piano.
There's a lot to see and do in Bern, from the well known Zytglogge to the bears enclosure, art galleries, historical churches, buildings and fountains, any kind of shops in and around the famous arcades, a wide variety of restaurants. It's a relatively small city and feels very safe and congenial. It's very easy to get around, on foot and by public transport (buses, trams).
My favourite activity in Bern is to wander down the arcades and look at (and visit) the shops.

It is a good location if you have a car to explore the Bernese Oberland region and do not mind driving 30-45 minutes. We had an electric car so the location was perfect since it was 10 minutes away from a supercharger.

An amazing, charming, clean, beautiful small city. Excellent mass transit system (bus & light-rail). There is a lot to do & to see. People are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend visiting! It is also easy, via train, to go on day-trips to many other places in Switzerland.

The old city is a nice example of a midieval town -very compact with the river on 3 sides. The location of the Parliament building iright next to the old town was great. Very beautiful nature walks just on the other side of the river. The Rose garden and Guerten Park shouldn't be missed. We came in the middle of fall and the covered streets were pleasant when it rained, which it did most days we were there. Vibrant night life in the old city. Day trips are easy - we had 3.5 full days in Bern and we were able to visit Thun which was a very nice half day trip. I don't understand the attraction to fondue but the locals do love it.
