This downtown Nanaimo hotel overlooks the Inner Harbour and is across the street from the Seaplane Terminal. The hotel offers free WiFi and free parking. Comfortable room and a great view. We had a good meal in one of the two restaurants and staff were great. A good stop for catching the ferry from either location.

Set 80 metres from Nanaimo Museum, Courtyard by Marriott Nanaimo offers 3-star accommodation in Nanaimo and features a shared lounge, a bar and a casino. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, and staff seemed very concerned that we'd be angry - the place is relatively new and there were a couple of other guests who were engaged in quite aggressive conversations with other staff at the time. Seems like there are some issues that need ironing out. However I have no complaints, we were given a beer each, went to park the car across the street, and by the time I returned the room was ready. Room was perfect, bed was huge, swimming pool was a welcome addition. It was only a layover but would have happily spent another night. I think the staff member who helped us might have been called Vern or something similar. He was a really nice guy.

Offering a terrace and garden view, Campbell Cottage B&B is located in Nanaimo, 1.5 km from Newcastle Island Marine Park and 13 km from Wildplay Element Park. The owner was really kind and helpful. She informed us that the road we would need to take to continue our journey was closed for renovations following fires. She inquired with the tourist office about available buses. It really helped us a lot. The breakfast was really varied and plentiful. There are 2 very sweet dogs and a cat. Spacious garden to relax. In the morning several squirrels could be spotted.

Quality Inn is located in Nanaimo, within 12 km of Wildplay Element Park and 3.3 km of Petroglyph Park. Staff were wonderful and very helpful. The location was convenient. The hotel is very clean, bed was super cozy.

Set within 300 metres of Nanaimo Bastion and 400 metres of Newcastle Island Marine Park, The Waterfront Suites and Marina offers rooms in Nanaimo. The room was spacious. The view was incredible! The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept on.
