Very clean and quiet apartment. The beds were comfortable and wifi worked very well. The gardens surrounding the motel are lovely and exceptionally well maintained. The lady that checked us in at the front desk was very nice and offered suggestions for places to dine nearby. Reasonable rates so would definitely stay there again. A vehicle is needed to stay at this hotel but it's a quick 15 minute drive into downtown Charlottetown. The motel is also a quick drive away from Brackley Beach.
Royalty Maples Motel & Cottages is conveniently located just off the Trans Canada Highway, and only 5 km from historic Downtown Charlottetown and Charlottetown Waterfront.

The flat was so spacious and did indeed feel very luxurious. A lot of extras were provided - for example, bottled water, milk and apple juice, and the laundry facilities were excellent. The area was quiet, and it was an easy drive into Charlottetown. All in all, we loved our stay.

The home owner (Liem) was an excellent host. The room was spotless and had all the amenities we needed and more! The suite is located up stairs in the home. The space was welcoming and comfortable with a private deck to relax on and included a comfortable king-size bed, a small fridge, a television with streaming service for entertainment and a large bathroom that had a walk-in shower, bathtub and dual sinks available. The house was also so incredibly quiet that it was easy to forget you were staying in someone's home.
Liem went above and beyond, allowing us the opportunity to do a load of laundry during our stay and unexpectedly having a small selection of breakfast items available for us each morning before we journeyed out on our day trips. I would 100% recommend a stay with Liem at the Lotus Moon.

Prince Edward Island was much bigger than expected so a long weekend was not enough time to see the entire island. Charlottetown was the place to stay on the island for both accommodations, restaurants, and things to do. Loved the trip and will definitely go back to finish the island.

I really enjoyed kitchen we could make breakfast and have coffee out on the deck overlooking the pond very relaxing. We also appreciated the laundry. We didn’t use pool but it looked inviting! Overall we enjoyed our cottage and it felt like home after our sightseeing days

Stanhope was an excellent place to stay for our first time on the island. We went mid June so avoided the summer busy season. The cottage was an excellent location to PEI national park and beaches with lots of trails for biking and walking. The property has a large selection of bike rentals and decent daily rates. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed. Comfy beds, kitchen/bbq for cooking and a hot shower. Honestly couldn't ask for anything more.

Charlottetown is a beautiful city representative of the best of Maritime coastal city architecture, scenery and culture. In October, it is resplendent in autumn colours. Throughout the summer and fall, it is visited by one to three cruise ships daily. Its live performance theatres are thriving and its restaurants are ready to offer the best in traditional Maritime seafood. Don't miss out on the lobster, shellfish and seafood chowder dinners, or the excellent locally brewed beers.

Stratford is just a short drive from Charlottetown.
Stratford is just a short drive from Charlottetown. The location is convenient. It also has a large plaza with several stores and some good restaurants. Phinley’s had the best fried fish I have ever had. Sobeys is a wonderful grocery store where you can find everything. Wonderful assortment. They do not sell beer, though. Beer and alcohol are sold only in government liquor stores in Prince Edward Island.

The beach is gorgeous!
The beach is gorgeous! it is actually 22 kms long, and if you drive down the coast and you stop at all the stops the beach changes shape and size. The water is cleaner is some areas and the sand is softer. There are places you can walk out in shallow water for 500 meters. I have been all over Asia and Australia, and I loved the beach here because the weather is more comfortable, and the sand and the water are just as nice to sunbath and swim in! The water is unexpectedly warm! It is really beautiful!

I love Charlottetown. It's my second visit!
I love Charlottetown. It's my second visit! My niece graduated Holland College in 2016 and now my grandson is attending Holland.
We had a great time getting him settled for the next two years then on to UPEI! Unfortuntely we had little time for experiencing all that Charlottetown has to offer!
