The room size (2 Queens Bed) is big. No good view though.

The room size (2 Queens Bed) is big. No good view though. The location is near the CrossIron Mills Outlet where I would like to spend a full day shopping and near the Calgary International Airport where I would be going to catch a plane. Didn't like that they didn't do housekeeping despite me staying for 2 nights - no making the bed, emptying the dustbins, changing the towels. There was no door card for me to indicate that I would like the room cleaned. The breakfast was pathetic. Would prefer they charge lower for room rate and do not provide breakfast as plenty of options at the CrossIron Mills Outlet.

Stampede City - World Class , has everything to offer.

Stampede City - World Class , has everything to offer. One and a half hours to the Banff and the Majestic Rocky Mountains , great food and finest restaurants , 4 seasons' of adventure and entertainment , beautiful parks , close to water activities in the Bow River and Chestermere lake , Government sponsored camp grounds all within a short drive . Clean and Best city in the world to visit as it home to Multi Cultures .

Chestermere is a nice small, residential community located...

Chestermere is a nice small, residential community located near Calgary. We found Chestermere to have good services, and enjoyed dining in a couple of restaurants (Indian and Japanese). As our stay was short, and we were visiting also Calgary, we did not have enough time to fully enjoy Chestermere.

Lots of shops and restaurants to go to including Paul’s Pizza. Nice parks. Close to Calgary so you could use it as a base. We drove out to Edmonton and back for a day. Also you can drive to Drumheller to Dinosaur “Royal Tyrell Museum”.

Balzac itself has no facilities that we were interested in.

Balzac itself has no facilities that we were interested in. This hotel is close to Balzac but we went to Airdrie to the restaurant called Brewsters but are many other eating places available. Airdrie is a short drive north on highway #2 This hotel is very close to Cross Iron Mills mall , Costco and also Century Casino & Racetrack. The Calgary Airport is also not that far away.

not really much to say about calgary for us , we lived in calgary for a number of years and visit regularily from our home . we enjoy the shopping and ease of movement around the citys many traffic routes, except if course rush hour

If you want peace and silenece out of the hectic noise...

If you want peace and silenece out of the hectic noise pollution or tarffic noises. I would recommend chestermere for its peacfulness and cleanliness. Its so clean and so peaceful that you can literally hear the small water flow sounds or the sounds of bird. It is really rare to find places like it. You can relax 100% guaranteed.

The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and welcoming. It’s a bit off the Main Street, but that was perfect for us. Close to shopping and restaurants and accessible to Calgary-but NOT IN Calgary. Much quieter.

We enjoyed our stay in Calgary.

We enjoyed our stay in Calgary. The parks are good and the downtown area clean and easy to walk around. The Peace bridge over the Bow River has a contempary design and it was interesting to see the trout spawning in the river below. We visited the Stampede showground (GMC Stadium) for a Scream Fest which was alot of fun. As the weather become colder we headed indoors and got some great coffee/hot chocolate at the Rocky Desert market cafe on the corner of 3rd avenue SW and 5th avenue SW. Another food recommendation is the Bank and Baron Pub were we had a very good lunch on 8th avenue SW near 1 street SW. Anyway we hope to return to Calgary sometime to explore more of what the city has to offer.

Came to try out a few craft breweries however craft breweries are closed on Mondays, also dissapointing that local brewery products are not featured in the bars and restaurants of the town they are brewed in.
