We have always enjoyed the convenience of staying at this location when we have an early flight. Our room is always clean and comfortable and the bathroom is a luxurious treat after a day of travel. We really appreciated the addition of the glass water bottle with the filtered water machines on each floor!

I am so happy I met Viviane and got to stay at Royalty air bnb. In the few hours I spent there, she simply lit up the room and did so much to help me feel at home. After a wonderful breakfast, she even offered to take me and three other guests to the ferry for a more than reasonable fee to continue our great conversations. What a wonderful person and air bnb experience. Thank you Viviane!

I had a fantastic stay in the booked room. The spacious layout was impressive, and the amenities like shampoo, soaps, a hair dryer, and a TV made it incredibly convenient. I especially loved the option to make tea and coffee text to the room, and the presence of a fridge near to room was a great addition. The attention to detail and thoughtful provisions truly made my stay memorable.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a brand-new one-bedroom property located at 8345 French Street in Vancouver's Marpole neighborhood. This immaculate residence offers unparalleled tranquility and is managed by an exceptionally friendly and helpful team.
Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the pristine condition of the apartment. Every detail, from the spotless floors to the gleaming countertops, reflected a commitment to cleanliness that provided a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.
The location is a true gem. Situated in a serene area of Vancouver South, the property offers a peaceful retreat from the city's hustle and bustle. Despite its calm surroundings, it boasts a Walk Score of 96, classifying it as a "Walker's Paradise." This means that daily errands, dining, and shopping are all within easy walking distance, adding to the convenience of the stay.
WALK SCORE
The property management team deserves special mention for their exceptional friendliness and willingness to assist with any inquiries or needs. Their dedication to guest satisfaction truly sets this property apart and enhances the overall experience.
In summary, this one-bedroom property at 8345 French Street combines immaculate cleanliness, unmatched tranquility, and a prime location with outstanding service. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a serene and comfortable stay in Vancouver.

Vancouver International Airport (YVR) Information
Location and Transport
Vancouver International Airport is situated on Sea Island in Richmond, British Columbia. Downtown Vancouver is about 7 miles (12 kilometres) from the airport and can be reached in under 30 minutes via rail on the Canada Line. Taxis are available at stands located on level two of the arrivals area, and flat fares apply for journeys to specified zones in the city.
Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities
A variety of hotels can be found close to the airport and many offer free airport shuttles. As airport facilities go, Vancouver International certainly has a few unorthodox options, such as a spa, an aquarium, and a dental centre in case you fancy a pre-flight filling.
Terminal Information
The airport is divided into the Main Terminal and the South Terminal, with a free shuttle service connecting the two. Passengers catching a connecting flight will need to pass through immigration – a passport, visa or ESTA may be necessary.

I did not spend much time in Richmond this trip, as I came in to see the Lene Lovich show at the Rickshaw theatre in Vancouver. I am however familiar with, and drawn to Richmond, particularly for it's diversity in both people and entertainment options.

Capilano suspension bridge is worth the effort to go. (free shuttle bus). Must do is the flyover - its touristy but well worth it.
The German market was good, but not worth paying the admission price. Nice food options available. Granville island is a nice place to walk around.
Have access to an umbrella - not too cold though in December.

West Vancouver is beautiful and natural with trees and ocean. I went to Pawan Indian Food and it was fantastic. The waiter was friendly and focused. The food was generous enough to take home food for another meal.
First day of my trip I went for a relaxing facial at CUR’s Beauty Salon in Park Royal. I would like to live in North Vancouver!
The road signs in West Vancouver are abundant and clear for an easy ride. For a solo I thought of visit a beach in West Vancouver but never made it.

North Vancouver is cleaner and more outgoing than downtown area. Just about 5km to Capilano from this area. Lots of great restaurants and cafés at the Pier. Drinks and dinner at Joey’s, not too pricy and great presentation and taste of food. Easy access to downtown via SeaBus.

This is a bedroom community.
This is a bedroom community. It is quiet and we respect that short term rentals can be a contentious issue so we kept noise to a minimum. But we are all in our 60s and in bed by 10pm, say no more... That said, we found the proximity to grocery store, gas station and yes, a beer/wine store, within walking distance very convenient. Please be respectful to your host and their neighbors, we intend to stay there again.

I arrived on Sunday. Took the skytrain to downtown. So simple. Found my hotel, got settled and went exploring. Hockey game on Monday night was excellent. Vancouver lookout also fantastic. Walked and explored more of Granville Island and seawall, Stanley Park. Tuesday we took a seaplane sightseeing tour and trip to Capilano Bridge. I highly recommend this. Ice skating at Robson Square, so awesome. Supper at Joey Burrard excellent steak and lobster. Gastown, see the steamclock, explored the area. Safe walking around even at 1 am. Wednesday lots of rain, still went for excellent shwarma meal. Skytrain to airport. Simple again. Transit is quick efficient and easy to use. I had an amazing adventure in this wonderful city. I highly recommend Vancouver to anyone.

This place was awful from customer service from the host to the details on the posting. Felt like a scam the entire time I dealt with them because once I booked a non-refundable stay he had no incentive to care about me. Sam, the host, seems to be of the mindset that the more aggressive you are with your travelers the better. He was rude, inflexible and did nothing to make me, a single woman traveling alone, feel comfortable or safe. Sam was completely unwilling to refund any portion of my booking once I told him I was feeling uncomfortable and unsafe.
When I booked this place I was under the impression that I had a small "beautiful house" to myself. A week before the booking I found out that it's a guest house, so it shared common spaces with other travelers. The description on the listing is vague enough that it is hard to tell what accommodations each level of guest has. I asked questions to find out more but he kept just referring me back to the listing. He evaded my questions that could have easily made me more comfortable such as "Is there a lock on the bedroom?" "How are security and noise handled?" "What are the shared spaces with other travelers like?" Ultimately he chose to stand tall on his non-refundable policy vs listening to and being empathic toward a unique situation in which someone was not feeling safe with the lack of information provided and newly learning that I'd be sharing space with strangers, including Sam.
Booking.com was absolutely terrible to deal with as well. In the end I chose my safety over my money and lost the entire booking cost. Do not book here and do not use booking.com, they do not support their customers in a situation like this.

The second-cheapest hostel in downtown Vancouver. Basic but very expensive from what I have been used (but I have just spent 3 months travelling in South Asia with cheap accommodation - and this is Vancouver. I wanted to sleep in the airport (I have a pad and sleeping bag and sleep in airports all the time) but was kicked out as YVR only allows sleepers with a flight the next day. I arrived from the Philippines, but was not flying out.
