Friendly and efficient staff. A very comfy room with good facilities.
Staff were helpful with where to eat and free entertainment happening in the town we would have missed otherwise.
Although positioned beside a busy highway there was no issue with noise.

Great motel. Exceeded expectations for the cost. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Solid walls and ceiling; built like the old days. Rooms are very quiet even though the motel is located on a somewhat busy street.

The location is a short walk to downtown and there is a lovely pub behind the Motel.
As well there is a mini mall with a Liquor Store and several other stores close by -5 min walk
The young man who registered us was very kind and helpful, and made sure we had extra towels
The room had two double beds with a separate bedroom , full stove, fridge, dishes everything we needed.
The TV was newer and had excellent picture quality, for a hotel TV.
There is a gorgeous Cane Corso dog at the site...don't touch him. They are very much a one family dog, and let me know that he was NOT okay with me touching his head lol
This hotel is my new Favorite place to stay in Quesnel when we go through several times a year.
I rarely see an older motel so clean and well kept.

The downtown area is really pretty, and very clean.

I didn't see any garbage at all even walking around.
There are a few unhoused people in the area , but many said Hi as we passed and where very nice.
The footbridge offers a beautiful view of the river , we loved it.

Quesnel is a picturesque, quaint, cozy little nest egg.
Quesnel is a picturesque, quaint, cozy little nest egg. I would have been happy to stay overnight there but the road conditions were not in my favour and I didn't want to mow down any deer in the dark...oh dear! I picked up my new puppy there and we walked around the little treasure of a downtown...stopped in and had the best coffee at the quaintest little jewel of a German coffee shop...mein deutsch ist nicht zehr gute...nor my memory but Quesnel was memorable for me! I wish I had caught the Remembrance Day ceremony but I kinda got lost in the charm. Sir Emersyn the 3rd misses his home town but we will visit again!

They advertised a free breakfast, but it did not actually...
They advertised a free breakfast, but it did not actually have one. I was called at the last moment to tell me that. They blamed it on COVID, but I do not feel that excuse is justified. Everywhere else in BC, they have continued with the free breakfast programs.
