Featuring mountain views, Salishan Tree House Suite is set in Cowichan Bay, around 23 km from Mill Bay Ferry Terminal. Enjoyed the European design and indigenous decour. Views of the bay were amazing and suite layout were outstanding, amenities were exceptional , rooms and beds, including linens, were extremely comfortable and were a perfect home away from home. Remote screens for windows, fans, fireplaces were easy to operate and convenient. Secured parking behind a remote wrought iron designed gate added an extra layer of security. A beautiful escape and an opportunity to unwind, relax and connect with nature.

Breakfast on the patio looking out into the bay is serene We added an extra day because it was just so peaceful. 10/10 would recommend to anyone

Situated within 5.9 km of Maple Bay and 24 km of Mill Bay Ferry Terminal, Eaglenest Manor Cowichan provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Duncan. The house was nice, at the top of a hill with views all around of the neighborhood and the hills surrounding the house. My room was quite spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view out the front of the house to a nearby mountain, a fireplace and a spacious bathroom. The host, David, was friendly and accommodating. In the morning, there was plenty of coffee and some light breakfast options (yogurt, toast, granola, fresh fruit, etc). The house has a long, narrow, sloped driveway and you can either park on the street or behind the house, but the latter requires some tricky 3-point (or more!) turns when you leave. If there were more guests, I would definitely have parked on the street. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely try to stay here again - and I wish I had been able to stay longer this time to fully enjoy everything on offer!

The service was exceptional! We had a problem getting there on time. As a result we needed to call for someone to come check us in. It was 2 o'clock in the morning. The night watchman was kind enough to allow my husband and I to come in and wait in the lobby as it was cold and snowing outside. Due to the late hour I had woken the lady that came to our rescue. She was absolutely great! Checked us in, and was training the night watchman for future services at the same time. We came over for a celebration of life the following day and this lady took her time offering her condolences etc. And again in the morning when we had to check out. I'm sure we'll be staying here every time we travel to the Duncan area, as we already have a few times in the past. But this particular management...she knows how to treat people and gave us every courtesy considering I got her out of bed to come over in the middle of the night. The overall cleanliness of the room was also exceptional. Some places we've stayed have been... a bit scary to say the least.

It was a nice stay for what it was. The staff were great,and the room was clean. The building itself is a little older and run down, but it was clean and had everything we needed.
