Located in the Vancouver city centre, Auberge Vancouver Hotel features an indoor pool and a sauna. Free WiFi, a refrigerator, and a microwave are provided in all rooms. Gastown is 800 m away. Excellent Vancouver hotel. Beautiful room, very nice swimming pool that was not too crowded in the evenings. Very nice staff: immediately providing useful ideas for how to spend time waiting for the room, complete with map, something too unusual nowadays, when hotel staff unfortunately often do not appear to know their own area without GPS.

Get the celebrity treatment with world-class service at Loden Vancouver Recognized locally and globally, the Loden is a 77-room boutique hotel which prides itself in its signature service, high-end... I had an excellent stay at the Loden Hotel. The experience felt very personalized and intimate, thanks in part to the hotel’s smaller size and warm atmosphere. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of always having water with citrus delivered — a small detail that made a big difference. The gym exceeded my expectations, both in terms of size and the quality of the equipment. Breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant, Tableau, was another highlight. This French restaurant offers food of truly excellent quality, making it a pleasure to start the day there. The location is superb — within walking distance of many tourist attractions and downtown, where numerous shuttle buses depart for other key sights. Overall, this hotel delivers a high-quality, personal experience in a prime location. Highly recommended.
Lonsdale Quay and The Shipyards have lovely cafes, bars, restaurants, and shops, and further down, the craft brewery area is fun too. Lynn Canyon Park has lots of lovely walks, and the trip up Grouse Mountain has lots to offer everyone. Easy access to Downtown Vancouver using the Seabus.
It is super chill city to walk all over town, clean, modern, tons of cool and affordable places to eat food from all over the world, tons of shopping options if that is your thing. Stanley park and the sea wall and walkways all around the city core are wonderful to spend the day exploring the city on foot or on rented bikes. The city is never crowded or loud, there are many small parks all around. In short a great city to chill and relax while enjoying good food and open spaces. There are also nice day trips outside the city.
North Vancouver is a wonderful place to wander around or go by bike. There are lots of walking trails through the woods between houses. You can go between city and wilderness as you wish. The Seabus allows you to zip over to Vancouver without having to set foot in a car or find parking.
Was in Vancouver + Granville Island for 4 days for the first time. Took my family. We all loved it. People truly are friendly, and food was great everywhere. We luckily didn't get rained on most of the trip. Maybe that helped. ;)
North Van was better than downtown in our opinion. Lots of bars, restaurants and retail. Harbourside was lovely and wherever you were around Lonsdale Avenue there seemed to be great transport links. Definitely recommend a trip to walk round Stanley Park!
It was a little dirty from when we were there in 2015, alot more homeless people around, however it was off season so didnt see it in the best light, but enjoyed our time regardless. Found Canada to be great except alot of facilities were closed out of Vancouver which was disappointing, if you want to attract tourists in the off season.
