The pool was perfect temperature, my room was a great size and had a pool view with a terrace and the staff working there were all happy to help - even greeted with a cold flannel and a coconut bread!

BelizeThe Hostess Angie was very approachable and friendly, helpful also with any queries I had. She ensured my stay was comfortable, always available if any concerns though also never invaded my privacy. Local facilities are shown on a chart which Angie has thoughtfully compiled and found within the kitchen area.
The apartment was clean, quiet and convenient to Belize city centre. It also came with amenities, such as filter coffee and machine which was welcome and made use of. There is a seating area just outside which I enjoyed making use of. I would recommend as a place for a very pleasant stay. I shall again book here for my next visit to Belize and use it as my starting point.

Cold drinks available in lobby to take to your room, (pop/beer, etc.). Food also can be ordered, kitchen on site. Grocery store and ATM located nearby. Tours can also be booked at the hotel. There is a rooftop pool and sitting area with excellent views of town.

SpainOur plans changed last minute and we decided to spend the night in Caye Caulker instead. The owner of the property was extremely professional and understanding, he drove us to the ferry and helped us as much as possible. The property is just like in the pictures, nice swimming pool, comfortable. Definitely would recommend!

We did not stay in Belize City, but out in Burrell Boom.
We did not stay in Belize City, but out in Burrell Boom. It is a bit out of the way, but very peaceful. Our destination was Punta Gorda, so we used Kenny’s shuttle service to get there. What a great experience, seeing the area on the way, with a bathroom stop half way. Very comfortable trip.

Belize is a country with much to offer, from excellent cuisine and superb beachfront restaurants to wonderful excursions like Old Belize, the Governor's House, and its various museums. It's also the starting point, just an hour away, for Mayan temples, Caribbean beaches, and the Cayes islands, where you can take excursions to explore the marine life of the Great Barrier Reef.

I found Belize City to be welcoming to me.
I found Belize City to be welcoming to me. Citizens of Belize City were friendly and welcoming. Everyone was helpful and pleasant.
I found Belize City Citizens respectful and willing to help when asked.
Street vendors were fair and a few were pushy. The food was excellent in flavor and appearance.
Definitely bring and use mosquito repellent on exposed skin including your face. I forgot to spray hands and wrist after washing my hands. My last day I got 3 mosquito 🦟 bites eating at an outdoor restaurant. Two bites on my right wrist and one bite on my left wrist.
My favorite non alcoholic drink was a frozen watermelon 🍉 daiquiri with jalapeño. Yummy - Luca's, Midtown and Tantino’s restaurants made them very good 😊.
