This place is right in the center by the plaza. A micro apartment perfect for 2 people with a fully stocked kitchen, a washing machine and a smart tv. Maria provides coffee/olive oil/rice, extra towels and linens, body soap....its basically brand new. Clearly she is starting a new project here and she is doing AWESOME.
Located in Teófilo Otoni, Pousada provides a terrace. With a private bathroom equipped with a shower and free toiletries, rooms at the inn also provide guests with free WiFi.

If you are in Teofilo Otoni, you are either lost or you are interested in minerals and gemstones. The International Gemstone Fair (FIPP--usually in August) is the event of the year in the town and worth a visit even for the traveler who is only casually interested in gems. People are friendly and helpful, and you will see things at this event you will not find anywhere else. Even if the fair is not running when you pass through, you can find interesting stones on and near Praca Tiradentes in the center of town. The Mercado Municipale is also worth a visit, and you can find great Minas cheese.
