We loved our stay. The lady owning the place was very sweet and helped us with everything (even though our Spanish is very bad).
The accommodation was very spacious and clean. I loved the cold showers in the morning.
The Apartment is located not too far from the airport. You can get there easily by foot.
We had some trouble finding the right house since there is no street signs but we just asked someone and they helped us.

nice, modern and clean facilities coming back from Amazon expeditions, the whole family was happy to cool down in one of the swimming pools. a/c works. good breakfast. don’t order steak in the evening, it’s cut super thin and comes out hard. kids were happy with pasta and burgers

Super friendly and helpful staff, including assisting us with arranging transport to the port in tabatinga to buy ferry tickets! Room was as advertised, everythinf worked and no issues - could even watch the Euro 2024 games on the TV!

Leticia is the city you will reach to start your Amazonas adventures. We spent one night in town before we traveled up the river. After a long travel to reach Leticia, I would highly recommend spending a night or two in town before heading out on the river. There are lots of restaurants, bars, etc to explore in town.

Leticia is very safe and friendly, with plenty of stores, restaurants, bars, cafes, and more.
There are plenty of police, soldiers, and coast guard.
We walked from the airport to our downtown hotel, but the sidewalks and roads are rough. There are many inexpensive taxis, tuk-tuks, and even moto taxis (motorcycles).
There are ATMs and currency exchanges, in case you want to go to the neighbour town in Brazil.

Leticia is a gateway for the Amazon so many people don't spend time here, myself included. But it would have been interesting to stay an extra day and visit Brazil, Peru which are both very close.
