The very friendly and helpful attitude of all of the staff. Each one made you feel welcome and at home. The hotel has many open-air areas which gives a fresh and cool feel to the hotel. My room was massive. Good air-con. Fridge/mini bar in the room. Large, comfortable bed. Nice, pool area. Great after a hot day out and about. Small but fresh buffet breakfast-eggs made to order. Good quality meals served in the evening using local produce. The hotel was an excellent place to relax, sleep well and enjoy my time in Leticia

The owner is a very good guy. He is in person the representative of the Amason Tours, so we could book our excurtion at vhis desk. It made our stay comfortable. He is very helpful and gave us good advice.
The pool and the restaurant is very good, and nice with the garden.

Our stay was exceptional. The property and facilities were spotless and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I left our key with another person in our group accidentally and was not able to return it when checking out. The front desk was incredibly helpful and understanding and helped us getting a tuktuk driver to return it to the hotel.

The apartment is very tidy and nicly furnishured with big rooms (mine was the 3). Perfect for longer stay too not just short stay before an advanture on Amazonas or before fly out. Everything is close , coffe shops, pharmacies, restaurants, supermarkets (just in front). Has good wi-fi what was very important for me. Patricia and Nubita was great host - they gave me a lift to the airport at my travel day. Recommended :)

Leticia is the city you will reach to start your Amazonas...
Leticia is the city you will reach to start your Amazonas adventures. We spent one night in town before we traveled up the river. After a long travel to reach Leticia, I would highly recommend spending a night or two in town before heading out on the river. There are lots of restaurants, bars, etc to explore in town.

Leticia is very safe and friendly, with plenty of stores, restaurants, bars, cafes, and more.
There are plenty of police, soldiers, and coast guard.
We walked from the airport to our downtown hotel, but the sidewalks and roads are rough. There are many inexpensive taxis, tuk-tuks, and even moto taxis (motorcycles).
There are ATMs and currency exchanges, in case you want to go to the neighbour town in Brazil.

Leticia is a gateway for the Amazon so many people don't spend time here, myself included. But it would have been interesting to stay an extra day and visit Brazil, Peru which are both very close.
