Wilma was a lovely host, friendly and always assuring. She also gave us a room upgrade given that there were vacancies. The room was basic, but cosy and clean. There was also small artistic touches in the rooms, which made the place feel a bit more homely and less generic. The hot water in the shower works well, though the shower cubicles tend to be quite cramped. The included breakfast was excellent, which included an egg, a pancake, bread, cereal, yogurt, juice and coffee/tea. We also appreciated that we could refill our water bottles at the lobby for free.

Hotel Rey David was an easy walk to the center of Uyuni. Lovely room with big private bathroom. Quiet, even with windows facing the street. Plenty of hot water for the shower. Room was heated at night. Very helpful front desk staff. My compliments to the breakfast chef. Best sunny-side-up eggs I think I've ever had. She has a bright and welcoming personality to match.
