This gem of a house was spotless and incredibly comfortable. The 4 generous bedrooms were fantastic, and the entire space felt so cozy. The location was fantastic, close to everything we wanted to see and do, making our stay incredibly convenient. The house was immaculate, decorated with thoughtful touches esp wall cabinet stacked with great books. A big plus is a fully equiped kitchen, allowing us to prepare our own meals. Our host Vidi was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with. She was also kind enough to let us check out an hour late. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Very clean and comfortable. Attractively decorated and with all the facilities I needed. It included helpful items not usually found in some accommodation I have used. Superior to any motels I have used.

Great location, walkable distance into town. Plenty of room for parking a boat. We had kangaroos on the front deck one morning. Kids got a kick out of that ..

Mallacoota was decimated by bush fires a few years ago . Amazing to see how well it has recovered even though the scars will remain.
We visited a few beaches and as older people our favourite was Quarry Beach as there are amazing rock formations and lots of rock pools to explore..We had a very good meal at the local pub but otherwise self catered. You do need a car or bikes to get around the town.

Accommodation was great.
Accommodation was great. It was a pity that some of the services advertised, such as breakfast and pre cooked meals, were not available due to lack of staff. It would have been appropriate to receive a discount due to the lack of advertised facilities. The manager, Peter, did a wonderful job though and couldn't have been more helpful.

we heard so much about Mallacoota during the bushfires we wanted to visit to see the place for ourselves.
We are not beach or fishing people and were were really passing trade as we were going from our home to an interstate activity. Dropping in to Mallacoota added a little time/distance to our trip, we felt visiting might be worthwhile.
We enjoyed our time and learned a little of how the locals must have been impacted by the bushfires.
The community appeared robust and thriving.

Its a lovely spot to spend a couple of nights, especially if the weather is good but, you need to either take everything you will need with you or be prepared for 30 minutes drive into Mallacoota. We were there just after Christmas school holidays and the whole area was just about shut down. We did have a lovely meal in the property next door at Gipsy point Lodge.
