The Swan Hill Show is a great place for families with young children, the first weekend in October.
Other items of interest at any time, include the Catalinas at the Flying Boat Museum, Lake Boga.
There are excellent restaurants, especially Java Spice.

Apart from the water for swimming, etc, there's only one real reason to visit Lake Boga and that's to visit the amazing Flying Boat Museum. We spent 2 hours there and if not for a demanding driving itinerary, we could've spent more. That's all there's worth seeing in L. Boga. BUT, please believe me ... that a good enough reason!

Take a ride on the paddle steamer (Pyap).
The Pioneer Settlement is worthy of a day visit, with a stunning "Light Show" in the evening.

Lake Boga is a lovely getaway.
Lake Boga is a lovely getaway. The lake has a footpath/bike track around most of it. Great hotel over in town central together with the local milk bar for your lunch needs. Your little getaway is covered.

The park itself is lovely and on Lake Boga, accommodation is very clean. The park is on the highway and the semi trailers come through most of the night, unfortunately you can hear them very well. If that doesn't bother your sleep then it is worth staying here.
