The owner is so nice to everyone. Really helpful and kind. The room has everything i need, from microwave as a single traveller and air conditioner to cool me down during the hot Shepparton summer. This place is in walking distance to the Shepparton information centre, which provides me with more information about the city.

The location was great as we had an engagement just down the road. Very convenient Woolworths and Aldi across the road. KFC next door Macdonald's just down the road. Had a Great time whole extended family stayed. Friendly staff and great value for money.

The council are trying to improve ammenities and street scapes but there seems to be an undesirable element around. Sad really.

My husband and I are both in our 70s.
My husband and I are both in our 70s. We used to live in Mooroopna and we were visiting some friends of ours. Tatura is a lovely little town. We ate at the middle pub and we all enjoyed our meals.
I just want to mention we did meat the owners the morning we were leaving. They were very apologetic for not being there to welcome us. It seemed they visited their daughter who had been rushed into hospital.

Shepparton is big, open and friendly.
Shepparton is big, open and friendly. The city is easy to navigate and close to the bush countryside. Be choosy about your accommodation and you will not be disappointed. Plan ahead for where to eat, and what to see. The weather was lovely and warm when we were there. She's an old, established city with a down to earth community. Although inland, you can still be near the water by the Goulburn River or at Victoria Park Lake. You can shop at all the big name stores and supermarkets.

So much to see in Tatura and nearby Shepparton. We found the German War Camps very interesting, a little known history for our group. The mosaic square are well worth seeing. Many coffee shops to choose from.

There was an acceptable Asian takeaway/dine in cafe next door. Mooroopna is very close to Shepparton without the hassles that a bigger city entails.
I was there to visit the cemetery, so other 'attractions' are inapplicable.

A country town with lots to do.
A country town with lots to do. The new art gallery is spectacular. The things I wanted to see and will go bck to see were the cow sculpture trail, the Furphy dispaly at the car museum and the costume museum. I was a bit surprised by the abundance of pay car parking in the city centre.
