PortugalVicky is a very human person! She was very helpful and comprehensive! I feel at home. The place is clean and so cosy! Her three doggies are amazingly friendly and is a dog friendly place! It was a great place to stay.
The breakfast was very good and fresh.I wouldn't hesitate to pass by a next time.

Cabarita Lodge was a quiet location.
Cabarita Lodge was a quiet location. The accomodation was old and very dirty. It was probably tge dirtiest accomidation we have stayed in 20 years. Unacceptable and should not be on booking.com or any other site.

Perfect location amongst the garden and fruit trees. Very relaxing and peaceful. Accommodation Tastefully decorated and very comfortable. You had everything you need inside. Host was very accommodating to my questions and requests and very friendly. It was my home away from home. When entering the property you can park either side of the home, either straight ahead or turn left and drive around the home and garden. The accommodation is at the back of the home and garden. Rex is a beautifully natured black shepherd dog. He loves your company. We stayed for 8 nights

This is a surprisingly well kept secret, what a great place.
This is a surprisingly well kept secret, what a great place. Although a bit out of the way it's a worth a stay of say 4-5 days in the cooler months. It's good to find out about the different types of grapes and what they're used for - not all for wine!!! The locals are only too happy to share their experiences and knowledge with you.

Buronga is located on the NSW side of the Murray river just across the bridge from Mildura. If you wish to see Mildura and have walking access to the shops, restaurants etc I suggest you stay in Mildura.

The local hotel was busy and accessible.
The local hotel was busy and accessible. There was a walking/cycling track that went all the way into Mildura. The motel was 6 kilometres from the centre of Mildura . The Murray River was out the front across the interstate highway about 20 metres from the highway.
The town itself is quite small and not a lot of shops, however there is a bakery/cafe and a good hotel. Houseboats tie up to the banks nearby. There is a large supermarket a short drive away.
The Wentworth Council has installed lighting along the walkway/bikeway and there is seating and a park nearby.

A great place to stay especially if you are travelling with...
A great place to stay especially if you are travelling with animals. Maybe not the best place if you dont like animals. I think Vickie can aslo accommodate horses as she has a couple of her own and has stables. It would be worth checking with her.
We loved our night at Cabarita and felt special to be able to share pizza and a glass or two of with our hostsess, We supplied the pizza and Vickie the wine

cant fault it Mildura was surprising. It had a vibe maybe because Lenny Kravitz was in town. Nice restaurants pubs and shops open it all helped with our stay. Would definitely make the trip back down to Mildura.

I liked the fact that we were made very welcome and so was our little dog. The room was lovely. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. Everything was very clean. It is a nice rural setting right on the edge of the regional city.

Mildura is beautiful.
Mildura is beautiful. Lots of things to do - paddle steamer along the Murray river; Holden museum; orange world; markets. Great sport for coffee is The Boathouse. Beautiful spot. Weather was very warm Will visit again!!
Pinno’s pizza makes amazing pizza and focaccia.
The boathouse has really nice breakfast, coffee and dinners. Well priced. Overlooks the river. Beautiful spot.
