It was the most lively, relaxing place. We just wanted to go home fast every day despite tourist attractions outside to see. The room was great, the compound was clean and safe. I am so glad that we didn't book a hotel in town. Went to a restaurant whose boss told us that lots of break ins including into his restaunt. Breakfast was fabulous. My room has good WiFi.

Great place! The beds were super comfy and the breakfast was literally a 10/10. I loved the poolside access to cook at night. For the price it's well worth it.

A wonderful stay – warm and helpful!
I felt completely comfortable during my stay at this motel. The staff were exceptionally friendly, warm, and always willing to help. I was especially grateful for the free late check-out and the kind offer to drive me to places, which was a huge relief as I was travelling without a car and it can feel a bit unsafe at night. I also received great advice and support throughout my stay. A big thank you for the fantastic service!

We stayed in Katherine for one night at Gorge View, had a meal of crocodile and Barramundi at the Katherine Club on O'shea Terrace, next morning went to the Katherine Outback Experience which we thoroughly enjoyed and had lunch at the New Shanghai restaurant. Only regret is that we didn't visit the Katherine School of the Air.

Fantastic staff at the visitor information centre who were able to get me booked onto a Nitmulik Gorge Tour for the next morning. An absolutely beautiful space with amazing tour guide, Casey I think 🤔🙂

It was a room (upstairs) with a bed and a fridge but not much else. The shower's taps were a feet level with nothing to hold on to when stepping in. The plastic plant on the bedside table just took up space. The restaurant was very different - it was welcoming, clean and the food was very nice. We only stayed one night.
