A lovely quiet setting (notwithstanding it was close to HB airport!). Host was welcoming and delightful. It was compact (as you'd expect of a tiny house) but was more than adequate for two (who are caravanners).

The Quarterdecks Retreat is situated in the Boat Harbour precinct of Hervey Bay. Wi-Fi is available throughout the five-acre retreat free of charge.

WOW...that's what you call spacious...with a garage. Nice living room, comfortabel bed and a washing machine. Perfect place with everything you need. You feel like an inhabitant from the fist minute on. One of the best stays I had. Definitely a place to come back.

Great location, close to amenities such as the harbour for eating out, short drive to supermarket. The studios had everything you need, very clean. Pool was lovely and clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We had a great stay.

We loved this B&B, Jon was a great host, friendly, welcoming and couldn't do enough for us including giving us a lift into town for our evening meal because it was raining. Our room looked out onto the garden at the back, the bed was extremely comfortable and the house and garden are absolutely beautiful and full of character. Breakfast was DIY with lots of choice and a chance to meet other guests. Wine and beer are in the fridge and available to buy at a reasonable price. Jon has put a lot of thought into the detail of this place and it makes for a very pleasant stay. We loved our brief stay at the Torquay and hope to return one day.
