Actually, apart from facilities, it was the social engagement that rounded of the stay, but this was a chance happening. I suppose budget minded travellers are more open to converse were there are shared facilities. Design of fire pit and camp kitchen with landscaping good feel.

Very beautiful place to stay, view was amazing. Apartment was very nice, comfortable, clean, spacious. Near my apartment there was restaurant so very convenient. Everything you need was, in the kitchen, in the bed room, 2 levels in apartment, so that was nice. great view to ocean. You can park a car jus near entrance. Everything was new, fresh.

Binalong Bay is a quiet area with stunning beach views.
Binalong Bay is a quiet area with stunning beach views. Its sand is soft and white and the water is a beautiful aqua colour. The Bay only has one restaurant (serving Pizzas) and would benefit greatly with a cafe and general store. It is a perfect place to unwind.

A lovely seaside town.
A lovely seaside town. We visited during cooler weather, so didn’t go swimming. I enjoyed walking on the beach and along the paths either direction from town. Shelly Point was lovely for exploring rock pools.

White sands estate.
White sands estate. Windy the first day we arrived but was a warm tassie 30degree day so that wasnt a problem. I imagine if its windy and not summer, one would need jackets and stay indoors. Driving to find food for dinner as we had not booked in the restaurant the night we arrived and they were fully booked. We ended up in Scamander and had some great food but service was poor only cos there was minimal communication from the owners and only two working in the kitchen.
Falmouth is a beautiful spot with clear waters and very relaxed vibe, minimal buildings so it feels so isolated and is a good escape from busy life

A very pretty town located on Georges Bay.
A very pretty town located on Georges Bay. A good choice of visitor's accommodation. A gateway to driving to Binalong Bay, Humbug Point and surrounding areas. Good shopping with 2 IGA supermarkets, mixed shops and cafes. Fresh seafood available at marina. Petrol is available.

Such appealing scenery. Every photo a winner!
Such appealing scenery. Every photo a winner! The red lichen against the blue sky and pristine blue water, with yellow grasses in the foreground … unique area of Tasmania. We chose to stay in a BnB and eat on site. St Helens is the place to pick up supplies and then collect your fresh oysters on the way to Binalong Bay.

Great location. We based ourselves there to do day trips to other tourist spots such as Bicheno, Wine Glass Bay and St Helens.

A beautiful coastline, lots to see.
A beautiful coastline, lots to see. The only thing we found tricky was dinner - we like to eat out and the choices are very slim in this area and not all open as you would expect, you also have to drive to other towns albeit a short 20 to 30 minutes. So if you want to eat out for dinner pre-plan it. If you like cooking at home the house is set up very well for it, you just need to buy some groceries, there is even a BBQ.

The harbour and waterfront is picturesque. The drive around the coastline to the conservation area at St Helens Point provided great views and opportunities to appreciate the coloured boulders/ rock formations, native flora and fauna.
