Please note: this is the Novotel airport hotel that is looking after ibis guests while ibis undergoes renovations. I don’t realise this at the time trying to find the ibis but Novotel staff made me feel incredibly welcome. And the 24 hour shuttle service is outstanding.
The 4-star Quality Hotel Darwin Airport offers free WiFi and free on-site parking. There are free transfers to and from Darwin International Airport, which is less than 5 minutes' drive away.

We stayed for one night at Hudson Parap. There was a small issue at check-in as the room wasn’t ready on arrival, but everything else was very good. The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with all amenities, including a well-sized kitchen. The location is convenient – easy to get an Uber, and there’s a grocery store nearby. Breakfast is not provided, but the reception has clear information on where to eat. Overall, a comfortable stay.

Generous host left food in the fridge for our arrival in our very roomy apartment.
Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen facilities fantastic with dish washer and washing machine/dryer all in excellent condition. Bathroom with a double shower and products there to be used. We had privacy but hosts were always reachable. Can't forget the pool! So refreshing and rejuvenating.

I liked most is the bed as it’s very comfy to lay my back on it.Room is big and very clean. The owners are very kind and friendly.Even the son of the owner gave us a warm welcome always wearing sweet smile on his face. The property is very clean.Highly recommended.Haven’t got the chance to see around beautiful views but there are lots of tourists spots in this area.We just ordered food through grab as we are tired from our long hours of flight .Very easy to get around the area ,very quiet neighbourhood.
Next visit I will make sure to bring a car with me to see more of this area and stay longer.

My hubby went barramundi fishing with a small group fishing charter, caught nine barras in total!
Explored Litchfield National park and Katherine Gorge with two different tour companies. Highly recommend Ethical Adventures Darwin who offer a variety of small group tours. We did the Litchfield tour with them which was so good!
Lots of nice cafes in the city and we had dinner one evening at Ella by Minoli, delicious Sri Lankan food!

BEWARE!!
BEWARE!!
On arrival everything seemed fine, clean tidy and with all necessary amenities. After dark the horrible truth was revealed. When we turned on the kitchen light there were approximately 7/8 cockroaches of varying sizes (including babies) in the kitchen. This was repeated everytime the kitchen light went on Throughout the night this continued. We found them in the bedrooms, the ensuite and even my suitcase. We had to leave the lights on all evening to reduce the amount that were scurrying around the house. When I contacted the owner to advise (and included 7 separate photos of the roaches) I was told that I was a nightmare guest, that I was hysterical and it was 'just a few little roaches mate'.
Good luck if you choose to stay here.

Darwin is a clean, attractive city.
Darwin is a clean, attractive city. I felt very safe there both day and night. There are plenty of activities and so many delicious food options. I really want to go again for the laksa festival!
I walked to most activities and restaurants. The food vans at Nightcliff offered delicious food. It was so easy to get to the Mindil beach markets by bus, which was FREE! The hop-on hop-off bus was a great way to see the area. The aqua Park was great fun! Crocasaurs Cove was thrilling and informative.
