We were in Dalby for a horse event at the Dalby Showgrounds. It was lovely to be able to stay in an air-conditioned room and cool down in the pool at the end of the day.
I had booked the suite for the extra space as my husband had to do some work from the room while I was riding.
The suite was comfortable and had everything we needed- it was hard to leave!! Didn't have the motivation to use the Jacuzzi because it was summer and the pool was right there!
Because I had the car, hubby had to walk to the Showgrounds on occasion. He informed me that it is not a far walk and if you go through the park it is quite pleasant. The park has a beautiful water feature to walk along.
Lots of fast food around for a snack, and the Indian restaurant in town is amazing, try the Malay Kofta if you eat there!

Everything. The staff went beyond themselves. All had different stories to tell. My wife said the fillet was as good as it gets,so good she had it next night as well. Other bars also recommended the food. They sorted a ground floor room as we had so much luggage. The WiFi was fast. Not one thing to complain about

Friendly staff, very clean rooms, all the little extras that you expect in a higher end chain Motel…coffee pods and fresh towels and biscuits etc, toiletries provided (body wash/shave cream/body lotion). Homemade meals delivered to the room were delicious! Breakfast was perfect too, delivered on time and exactly what we ordered and priced so very reasonably. Highly recommend.

I like everything about the Dalby Mid Town Motor Inn close to maccas and aldi within walking distance to main street, The manager she was absolutely amazing and lovely to me as my car broke down and i was buggered from the heat so my stay was a comfortable one.

Dalby has developed into an excellent rural tourist location...
Dalby has developed into an excellent rural tourist location. I was able to walk safely to the Leagues Club which had nice meals and drinks and where there was a decent local duo playing. I then walked to the Laneway Bar and Cafe which had very friendly management and staff, a fun crowd, and an awesome singer/guitarist performing! I enjoyed the Parkrun along Myall Creek on the Saturday morning and then had a scrumptious and nutritious breakfast at the Urban Paddock. I was also able to take a reasonably short drive to Bunya Mountains National Park and visit some waterfalls. Definitely recommend and I'll stay longer next time!

Great place to visit, easy to get around, great places to...
Great place to visit, easy to get around, great places to eat, a very good selection for all tastes, shopping was fantastic, a cross between a quiet mini city and a large country town. Plenty to see and events are often or just relax or take a walk by the river. Our first impression was the friendly, down to earth nature of the locals.

The walk along the Myall Creek was very enjoyable. Got to see some water birds - ducks, large egrets, etc; houses including a beautiful old but well maintained house; great shopping options and coffee house. Lovely park around the Visitors Centre.
