The location of the property was fantastic and as a Cairns local who has moved away it was lovely to come back and be just minutes from so many things. The owners were exceptional in the dealings with us as to their agent.
The property had very comfortable bedding, a huge lounge area and a dining table well and truely ample enough for our family (plus visitors). The kitchen was very well equipped and had counter space galore. All in all we really enjoyed the stay.
Just 10 minutes' walk from the Cairns Esplanade and 25 minutes' walk from Cairns Lagoon, this 4-star hotel provides luxurious accommodation with cable TV.

It is a bit old and retro, but very clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly. I had an overnight in Port Douglas and they not only looked after my luggage while I was away, they delivered it to my room so it was waiting to me when I returned.

This is the ideal place for family. Everything is tidy and clean. Mike is a great host and super flexible for the check in with clear instructions and a closed park car.
Thanks for all

Staff went out of their way to change our room for us upon request. We stay at Acacia Court regularly as it is close to the Base hospital. We always choose a seaview room & never dissapointed with the view or the cleanliness of the rooms,

For our family, location great.
For our family, location great. Short trip from airport, quick lunch at Red Barron Hotel, changed for trip to venue at Redlynch. We were only there for a few hours but found it to be a 2 star rating. I would not book this again.

Not recommended at all. Not as it claims.
Not recommended at all. Not as it claims.
Not a holiday house. It is A holiday apartment in a Queenslander with owners living on the premises with two territorial jack Russells. No parking.
Not an easy address to find for a traveller.
Take your own milk for coffee.

Cairns is only a couple of hours from the country town I live in and is a great day or couple of days out. It has so many facilities for tourists and is a laid back type of place for people to enjoy a great holiday.

If you have a hire car, Westcourt is a good place to stay.
If you have a hire car, Westcourt is a good place to stay. Away from the mad tourist traffic and late-night city noises. Just a two-minute drive to the Esplanade, Cairns Station, major shopping centre and the city centre.

Situated close to the airport made travelling easy.
Property is gated so felt safe and secure.
Having a local personal contact helped with knowledge fior eating out and shopping.
Situated is so convenient for visitors to Cairns and so many locally based things for visitors to Queensland.

The North Cairns area can be noisy because of its location near the airport. Road noise is also a concern during the day because the apartment is on the1st floor and no sound barriers between its balcony and the road nearby. Overall, though, the noise level greatly reduces in the evening and did not affect our sleeping at night.

I loved the night activity and the Lagoon is amazing, very relaxing! Plenty of good food affordable food options, and casual tropical feel and lots of sun!!! I actually usually stay at Palm Cove which is quiter and I find it so easy to travel using the bus services, which are 50 cents per ride in Qld or $1.00 for the whole day, so easy to get around! One point I would say is Cairns City needs to get their street signage sorted out, as I spoke with many and we all felt either their was no sign at an intersection, or it was hidden and not obvious! Yes we can use our phones when they behave, but it is still vital to have basic signage! Overall I love going to far North Queensland as it is beautiful scenery and incredible plants and flowers thrive everywhere and very friendly!!! Leith, Melbourne

We loved being so close to the beautiful Botanical gardens in Edge Hill and enjoyed having afternoon tea in the cafe surrounded by tropical trees and plants. We also enjoyed going for early morning walks in the extensive gardens and parks.
We didn't need to go into Cairns city to eat - we enjoyed eating food from the Indian restaurant and the take-away Thai in Edge Hill. There were other, often busy, restaurants to choose from but we mostly preferred to eat and relax at home after a busy day. We felt safe walking along the well lit Main Street at night to eat/order our food.
