The place and the people who run it are amazing! The couple who own the house are very friendly and really made sure we had a good time. We found out that when we stayed we were the only ones. This created an atmosphere of quietness and rest. The breakfast, the pool and the rooms are amazing. We also watched a movie on their big projector-cinema. We basically had the whole house to ourselves!
It was also fun to have one pair of their parents over. The elderly mother was really sweet and showed us the house and made us good food. Although the parents don’t speak English very well, we still managed to have some talks and fun.
And of course we cannot forget to mention Oka, their very cuddly small dog!

Camden seems like a country town on the outskirts of Sydney. There are lots of places to eat and drink. The Op shops were open on Saturday afternoon and Vinnies was even open on Sunday. We will be back for a longer stay.

The place was clean and tidy. What I dislike was it's a bit far from the main road and it won't be convenient if you arrive late at night as there are no street lights on the road leading to the premise. The owner was very helpful and guided me to her place.

If you need to stay in the south of the city Camden is an excellent choice. You have all the modern facilities but a really nice old style country main street with plenty of choices for meals and entertainment. Plan your travel though. Like all the major cities the traffic has peaks and you need to allow for them.

We stayed 5 nights specifically for a family wedding. Our room was quiet and comfortable and met our needs. It included an iron and ironing board which came in handy. The soap dispensers included hand and body cream and surprisingly shaving cream.
Additional cutlery and crockery was available from the Reception.
A large shopping plaza across the road could be accessed through it's car park and included a good selection of eating places and a Cole supermarket.
There were a couple of Pubs within walking distance and a short drive to Camden with more shops and eating places. We would be happy to stay there again under similar circumstances as there was nothing we would want to improve on.

Do not stay here it does not matter if it is cheap spend another $30 and go somewhere else. Room smelt like a toilet, the bed was so old it looked like someone was still sleeping in it as it was so saggy. No milk for a cuppa, no glass for a glass of water, no face washer to wash yourself with and the heating and cooling well I didn't want to turn on the air con as I thought it might fall out the window. The bed was so bad we left at 4.30am in the morning as we could not sleep so thought lets get on the road.
