I loved my stay at the Bairnsdale Main Motel - a classic, old-school "mom and pop" style motel, which I just love! I had the pleasure of meeting with and talking with the fantastic host, a really good man with a heart of gold. The room was cosy, quiet, clean and very comfortable, and I slept really well there. It had everything I needed for a self-catered stay, and I particularly appreciated the microwave in the shared area. I highly recommend a visit to nearby Raymond Island for koala-spotting if one is in the area for tourism. I would have liked to have stayed longer.

We needed a late check in, and so we called the front desk as recommended in our confirmation e-mail from the property. We left a detailed message, and we quickly received a message back telling us how to access our room key. The room was great! Big, comfortable, well appointed. We had a comfortable night, and checkout in the morning was easy. Great location.

Clean beddings, towels and facecloth. Very toilet, shower, cupboards and sofa. The room has TV, fridge, microwave. Kettle, toaster and cutlerries. No broken stuff. Everything is in good condition. The motel is 5 minutes walk to Aldi and Woolworth store. Close to restaurants, bank, post office, etc., Hiking trail and Mitchell river is nearby. Excellent location

The hotel is completely refurbished and modernised. We had two rooms, one came with a kitchenette and the other one was a regular twin. The kitchenette had everything one might have wanted, the usual toaster, kettle and microwave, the modern bathroom offered a washing machine and dryer. The beds were super comfy. The nice thing about the hotel was its central location and easy accessible street parking opposite the hotel. The restaurant offered a wide selection of food.
