Aeroparque Jorge Newbery Airport sits just over a mile (2 kilometres) from central Buenos Aires. A number of public buses run from just outside the airport and take around 40 minutes to reach the city centre. Palermo is so dense and feature packed that it can be entertaining for years. After 15 trips, dining and drinking choices are myriad, but there are plent of touristy rip offs, which are usually visibly obvios. However, sometimes the surface level is good but there´s a catch. And one is a parilla we just found and ate at, for the first and last time. Across the street from Plaza Armenia, a place called Don Benito´s is a textbook example. The food was allright, nothing special, but after telling me they would exchange dollars at 1400 after the bill was presented the cambio was now 1200, per the alleged owner inside. Anyway, a low rent scam and best left alone. There are dozens better despite having a 4.5 rating in goo goo, curious.

Vicente Lopez is a province (bairro/suburb we may say) well...
Vicente Lopez is a province (bairro/suburb we may say) well served by train and several buses. A very easy place to get around. There are lots of restaurants and bares for lunch, happy hours and dining's and great parks. Safety was so such a great feeling while in Vicente Lopes, and it is something I miss as living here in Sao Paulo-Brazil. A great place indeed.

Food is always great in Buenos Aires, but if you think having dollars will get you amazing deals, you’re wrong. BA has become expensive—both for shopping and dining. Many people from Argentina actually prefer to shop in Chile or Brazil because prices are lower. Restaurants here are also pricey nowadays.

The location of the apartment was great, very close to AEP airport. Situated in a safe neighbourhood with excellent places to eat and supermarket close by. The reception was open 3 - 6pm and the extremely helpful and friendly person was able to assist with onward travel booking reservations for us. Internet access was fast.

Location is convenient, just 20-25 minutes drive from the AEP airport and in walking distance from the city centre. Recoletta cemetery is about 10-15 minutes walk. Hotel is the old building which basically makes it very authentic. I like the celling height and the existence of the elevator. There is just few stairs before reception. My room was ready 2 hours prior official check in so special thanks for that as I was able to take a shower after the flight and went exploring the city refreshed.
