A really nice hotel located right next to the airport, very suitable for those who want to be close to the airport. Our flight was canceled and it was really suitable. We were received very nicely by the baggage man and at the reception. The hotel is simply perfect. There is a free shuttle service to the airport every half hour/hour. You have to check with the reception, which definitely helped us.

Located 3 miles (5 kilometres) east of the city centre, Dubai International Airport sees around 83 million passengers pass through its gates each year, making it the busiest airport in the world. It’s well connected by public transport. Metro trains run roughly every ten minutes to/from Terminals 1 and 3, while buses stop opposite Terminal 1, 2 and 3. Taxis carry an AED 25 standard charge from the airport, with a journey time of around 15 minutes.
Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities
Passengers with scheduled layovers or unexpected delays can find accommodation in Dubai International Airport or in nearby districts like Garhoud and Port Saeed. Some hotels provide a pick-up shuttle service. This is the 2nd time to Dubai so we didn’t visit the same...
This is the 2nd time to Dubai so we didn’t visit the same places as last time but instead visited the Miracle Gardens (great !), the Global Village (great !), a day trip to Abu Dhabi to visit the Palace and Grand Mosque (both absolutely amazing). We wandered around the Marina which is breathtaking in the daytime and magical at nighttime. We would recommend all of these places.

A great place for a few days' vacation.
Must see: al Noor Island with Butterfly Pavillon, Al Qasba Canal, Islamic Civilization Museum, Rain Room.
The city is unexpectedly green, clean, mich calmer than Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with a nice long promenade along the lagoon.
If you like beaches, go to al Khan Beach.

I book online and Paid they later told me that there’s no room available and I spoke to them they said they’ll refund since 24th Christmas Eve today is the 6th day no response no refund I just see them as scammers they’re not real I hope I can get my money back
Because I still check the portals again they put it there that they still have 2 rooms which is all lies if you click on the link and pay they’ll take your money and later tell you. O room available that’s a horrible experience and extortion too bad experience and horrible

I liked walking in the evening/night on street visiting shopping malls and restaurants. Evening boat ride with food/entertainment service was also exceptional. I Visited also Burj Khalifa tower, desert with camels, Jumeirah beach, etc. All were amazing, The think I liked less, the hotel pricing was very high but I understand as it was a holiday season with high demand.

The property changed the price just a few hours before check-in, which came as a complete shock. We are still trying to secure a refund. I do have an issue with this practice; however, everything else was excellent. Furniture really needs to be changed now its getting way too old

Second year running we have been, still found plenty of things to do, hired a car for 3 days, easy to drive round although very busy, drove to Warner Bros Studios in Abu Dhabi which was good
Went to Burj Khalifa again (a must, Miracle Gardens and Global village which are both great
Prefer Mall of The Emirates to Dubai Mall, a bit less manic, and feels nicer to walk around
Outlet village and Dragon Mall both very disappointing
Went to the beach by the Burj al Arab which is nice, also Christmas Market nearby
Boat trip in dubai Marina very reasonably priced
Food and Drink reasonably priced in most places

Sharjah adjoins Dubai in the UAE but there is no interconnecting public transport so you must rely on taxis (more expensive) or Uber (better choice). People in Sharjah were quite friendly, more so than Dubai although again people were not unfriendly. While there are some interesting sites to visit, it is not as grand or varied as Dubai. That said, Dubai not that special either!
Not somewhere I'll be rushing back to, but if there had not been a conference to attend, I probably wouldn't have gone there in the first place.
