Some bugs got in the room somehow but it wasn't a big issue. The surroundings are beautiful, you can walk to the mountain if you want as well. The restaurant offers good food for a reasonable price and we are so happy about all the cute animals that live here. Hosts were very friendly and gave very good advice not only about what to do in the area but also adviced what we could visit further on our trip.

The Homestay was clean, convenient and a great location that was lovely and quiet but with easy access to all the attractions. This being said however, the number one thing about this Homestay is the owner - Huy! He went above and beyond with everything from making breakfast, offering lunch/dinner options, as well as helping book tours/transport and anything else you required! I can’t thank you enough Huy. This was one of the best Homestay’s I’ve ever experienced and I can’t wait for upcoming guests to experience this Homestay too!

I received help with all activities and transport, valuable advice, good food, all with a smile and great helpfulness. One nice thing is that local families live around the guesthouse and you can see normal village life, which for me is a pleasant bonus. I felt very welcome and will never forget Phong Nha and the Cherish House family.
