The room was very clean, overlooking the island slope. The facilities are basic but functional and are maintained excellently. There's also a terrace to enjoy the view from the outside. All meals provided, lunch, dinner, and breakfast were excellent and served in a nicely decorated dining room. Lunch and dinner were traditional choices of quinoa/corn soup and cheese + vegetables/pasta second course, all with local ingredients. The pancake breakfast was more of a Western style and filling for the day.. Everything is very quiet on the island, even the roosters were heard only from outside. We had a chance to observe daily island life, see people going about their chores while wearing traditional clothes, watch the sunset from the highest point, and learn a bit about local beliefs and traditions. We attended the evening fiesta that was arranged for tourists. However, it mimics all the features, such as music, clothes, and dances, of authentic island celebrations. Knowing some Spanish will significantly help enrich your island experience.

All the services that they provided were exceptional like breakfast and dinner, despite of the cold weather their lodge had many features that helped us feel warm and comfortable. The food was amazing, they took into account our dietary restrictions. The only bad thing is that we didn’t stay longer.
