A great place to stay that is off the beaten path, yet has easy access to the main roadways. The check in was easy as the host met us when we arrived and gave us a tour. The parking was plentiful and parking in front, we could see the car from the room. The security was good as the town was fairly small and there was not a lot of traffic on the road out front. You enter in a hallway with rooms on the left and the breakfast room on the right. The breakfast room is nice with big picnic-style tables and a refrigerator that is also for the using. The host has also included some niceties, like soda and wine that you may purchase in the breakfast room. If you wanted to get some takeaway and bring it back, this would be a nice, quiet and roomy place for a meal. The bed was nice and comfortable and it has a TV, but we didn’t use it. The room also had a love seat and a table. The shades close easily and the windows open if you need some more air in the room. The bedding was O.K. and there were side tables with plugs on both sides. The bathroom was nice, clean and spacious and the shower was great. The host even included some nice shampoo and soap. The surroundings are nice as the property is very well kept and the outdoor space is very comfortable. I would recommend a stay here, especially if you want a great, out-of-the-way place for a good night’s sleep.

It was amazing! Best family weekend here. Pretty and quiet location. Breakfast was very yummy, everything what you need and if you have some special need for your breakfast it’s not problem at all. Close to Groningen and yet in the countryside. A nice place to stay. Ideal if you want to visit Groningen or simply bike around and visit the villages along the Eem. You can park your car inside the property. It is very calm and private. Check in and check out very convenient. Bedding was comfortable. Breakfast was superb.
