Hotel Millennium in Locarno is located right on the banks of Lake Maggiore, near the harbour and only a 2-minute walk from the Old Town and the train station. Wi-Fi is available for free in all rooms.... The breakfast far exceeded my expectations. It was of excellent quality, local and varied and delicious and the staff could not have been more attentive.

Hotel Belvedere Locarno, a superior 4-star hotel, is open year-round and offers 90 rooms and suites with beautiful views of Lake Maggiore, the city and the mountains. There is absolutely NOTHING we could fault: it was absolutely spectacular: the hotel, the location, the room, the service, hotel staff went above and beyond. We absolutely loved our stay with you. It was also in a good central location in Lugano. The room was very clean and comfortable and also the beds were wonderful and we slept very well. Self check-in was easy and efficient and the hosts were responsive. We were able to get to Valle Verzasca from this location which took about 1.5 hours. 100% recommend!!

Newly opened, beautifully decorated, air conditioned bedrooms, great facilities, family-run and extremely friendly. Set on the banks of Lake Lugano, the terrace, where you have breakfast/ drinks has amazing views across the lake. The breakfast is outstanding- freshly baked breads to start, followed by homemade waffles, and finished off with any type of eggs and bacon. Fabulous orange juice and tea/coffee. The owners also recommended an Italian restaurant 3 minutes walk away, and even reserved a table for us. The food and staff there were amazing too! Villa Patria is a little gem! Can highly recommend!
