Attractively situated in the centre of Búzios, MarTito Forno Pousada - Armação dos Buzios features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. Amazing place, the staff was so friendly and helpful even though they didn't speak much English and our Portuguese is very poor! Made us feel very welcomed. Really nice views, 2 pools and great homemade breakfast!

I chose the pousada for 1) its location, 2) the rate, 3) the likelihood of more Brazilian clients (i.e., away from the hyped-up resort type of pousadas), and 4) the reviews. The reviews mostly praised the friendliness of the staff. That was definitely a selling point. I could not agree more. The staff is excellent throughout the entire facility: polite, willing to help immediately, has a good sense of humor, and always smiles. Plus, the pousada was quiet at night for a relaxing sleep.
