The staff and management were amazing. Very welcoming and ready to help when needed. The security was always present and helped with taxis and loading luggage. The whole building was spotless and well taken care of. I had a refrigerator issue that was taken care of quickly.

Sama is a must stay if you’re ever visiting Dakar! Property is only 4 months old as it recently opened in 2025. The decor is exceptional from the lobby to the rooftop. The property is filled with African art and artifacts. The rooms are modern and have balconies that face the ocean. We even had a chance to meet the owner and he was kind and generous after we wanted to extend our stay. I’d stay here again on my next visit to Dakar.

Staff was attentive and made sure the room was ready, I had a very late check-in. Breakfast was good. Location is good in terms of where my family lives, easy access to them. Can’t do anything about the Dakar traffic jams, lol.
