Atlantida Mar is a contemporary hotel featuring designer guestrooms with panoramic views. The hotel rooms were very comfortable and had a balcony with an amazing view of the pool and sea. We lay in bed at night with the door open and listened to the waves and watched the sunrise. The hotel was just outside the town but there is a lovely promenade outside which leads into the town. Pool towels are provided and there is a small gym (which we didn’t use as preferred to run along promenade). Buffet breakfast was very nice. Car parking available on site. There was a lovely restaurant next door to hotel on sea front which was lovely in the evening.

Facing Ponta Delgada’s Marina, the renovated 5 star Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico, is set in a prime location and offers 8 conference rooms and a heated indoor swimming pool. Staying at Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico has been an amazing experience. My best hotel stay ever. Amazingly kind and attentive staff, they all seemed to give their best to make sure that the guests have everything they need and enjoy their stay. The hotel has an amazing location, great view to the ocean, really nice rooms, good gym, nice pool and I also really liked the bar. The value for money is just excellent. Certainly not the cheapest accommodation in Ponta Delgada but taken all into account, it has exceeded my expectations. I would go back anytime, and will definitely do so the next time I am going to the Azores.

Located in a valley surrounded by trees, Terra Nostra Garden offers elegantly decorated rooms. Next to the Terra Nostra Botanical Park, it features indoor and outdoor pools. This place is quite pleasant, with a charming old-fashioned design. The breakfast is good, though there's a bit of excess service – they bring a kettle of coffee, tea, and juice. It's not really a drawback, more of a minor point to note. The 24-hour access to a thermal pool is a major advantage. The highlight is the incredibly vast park surrounding the property. Overall, it's a delightful spot with a unique charm that extends beyond the accommodations.

Featuring a restaurant, bar and views of city, Mercure Ponta Delgada Azores is located in Ponta Delgada, 12 km from Pico do Carvao. Ideally located in the center of Ponta Delgada. The room was big and comfortable,with a large bathroom and a comfortable balcony, although now in winter was not fully utilized. The bed was very comfortable with two big pillows. The staff was very polite and friendly.

1.4 km from Fumarolas in Furnas, Canto`s Green Garden, Apartamentos Turísticos & SPA, 4 Estrelas provides accommodation with access to a sauna, hot tub and hammam. We loved the surroundings of the accommodation and the fact that you have exclusive access to a wonderful garden. The apartment is comfortable, and the large windows frame the nature around you. We equally enjoyed the swimming pools, and my children safely played in the kids shallower pool. The staff was very kind and friendly. I will definitely return and recommend it to friends and family.

Situated in Ponta Delgada, 11 km from Pico do Carvao, The Farm - Azores Boutique House features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, private parking, a garden and a terrace. The staff went over and beyond to accomodate our requests and to make us feel as comfortable as possible. The hotel is beautifully decorated and newly renovated. The salt water pool was awesome with comfortable lawn chairs and bathroom/shower facilities. Will certainly return!!

Situated in Angra do Heroísmo, 500 metres from Zona Balnear da Prainha Beach, Boutique Hotel Teatro features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, private parking, a garden and a shared lounge.... The property itself - so lovely and exquisite; it’s location with respect to the centre of town and access to other sites around the island; the staff are so clientele focused - couldn’t be more helpful, nothing too much for them, always smiling, lovely individuals; so clean and immaculate and the bed so comfortable.Breakfast was excellent, so much and so tasty.
