Situated in Seljord, Garvikstrondi Camping features a garden, children's playground, and sun terrace. There is a water park on site and guests can enjoy the on-site bar. It was third time when I was visiting this campsite and I will be back for sure 😁 It is placed right beside a lake so there is beautiful view. Also: easy access, affordable price, very kind host, playground for small children, heating in the cottage, clean and pleasant environment

Rjukan Hytteby is situated in the center of Rjukan. There is a restaurant and guests can have fun at the water park. Good location, nice hutt and nice surroundings.

Offering affordable tickets to an indoor water park and spa/wellness centre, Hotell Fritidsparken is located in Skien Leisure Park, 3 km from central Skien. The location was stunning, the staff were really attentive and friendly. I had dietary requirements and it was played dinners rather than all buffet service, they had prepared a meal especially for me which was delicious. The room was tidy if basic but considering the price I was very happy.

First Camp Bø - Telemark is a campsite open all year round, only 500 meters away from Sommarland in Bø, right by Lifjell and with Høyt og Lavt adventure park right on the forest border to the camping... The room is extremely cozy! It has some features such as a minibar and television in the room. Extremely practical check-in. The location is in a very quiet area, at least in autumn, but perhaps it can be busier during the summer.

This traditional family-run B&B is in the Telemark village of Dalen, 500 metres from the Telemark Canal. The modern rooms include a private bathroom with shower. Great breakfast, great host, nice house and room. Free car charge is a great plus.

Housed in a 19th century manor in central Porsgrunn, Hotell Vic Porsgrunn offers free Wi-Fi, free parking and rooms with a flat-screen cable TV. Storgata shopping street is 50 metres away. The room rate includes breakfast, an afternoon snack, and dinner, which made it a great value. The rooms were comfortable and the location was excellent.

Situated by the Skien River in central Skien, Home Hotel Bryggeparken offers free WiFi and air conditioned rooms with cable TV. A light evening meal is served every day. Excellent place. Half board, breakfast really good and the staff very helpful.

Deep in the heart of the scenic Langesund archipelago lies this unique hotel, which is beautifully situated by the sea and offers a multitude of recreational activities. Really lovely decor inside, beautiful views and very peaceful. I was pleasantly surprised as, when approaching the hotel from outside, I wasn’t sure what to expect inside! Great breakfast and the evening meals was delicious! The staff were excellent - high service levels and very friendly.

Boasting lake views, Hytta på Øyfjell features accommodation with an open-air bath and a patio, around 30 km from Eidsborg Stave Church. It was a very relaxing stay for us, you can enjoy the sun all day long and you have everything you need. (In our case, for a couple travelling with a dog) It is clear the owners put a lot of love in it, everything is clean and in good shape. You must prepare a bit, for a stay without running water, but that is pretty easy to manage. It is calm, but not too remote, some good places for groceries, dining (simple, but good) and coffee nearby. Also contact with the host was fast and pleasant.
