Fabulous stay, my first time in Malaysia. The characterful and historic building is renovated with great taste and simplicity, creating a comfortable, secure and relaxing environment. The room was of good size, comfortable bed, desk etc and excellent shower. The air-con was efficient and very necessary! Breakfast is by the pool and offers a daily "Asian special" which features the different cuisines of the island. The hotel is located just outside the UNESCO bufferzone, the neighbourhood is safe and very walkable with many exceptional eating options within a short walk. Special mention for the hotel staff who were exceptionally welcoming and attentive.

The kitchen is also fully stocked with plates, mugs and cutlery needed for our family of 11 people. The host Ivan is really friendly and helpful. I would definitely return to stay in the homestay if we are ever in the vicinity. Thank you. 🩵

Wayne is an incredible host, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and welcoming stay. The home is equipped with everything we needed, including a water dispenser, shampoo, hairdryer, iron, and washing machine. It's also very baby-friendly with a cot, high chair, and baby utensils. We were especially impressed by how Muslim-friendly the home is, with a Kiblat, separate kitchen utensils, and other thoughtful details that cater to Muslim guests. Even though we're not Muslim, we truly appreciated how Wayne takes care of all types of guests. The kids loved the swimming goggles and floats provided, which made us feel so warm and cared for. We also enjoyed Netflix on the TV. Highly recommend this home for families or anyone looking for a thoughtful and inclusive
