Facing the beachfront, DORMERO Hotel Sri Lanka Hikkaduwa Beach offers 5-star accommodation in Hikkaduwa and features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and garden. A wonderful hotel with wonderful staff. It only opened in March but it was very homely and comfortable. Our bedroom was enormous with stunning views of the sea. The pool was perfect and because it is a relatively small hotel, 11 rooms and a penthouse, there wasn’t a problem getting a sun bed regardless of time of day. No towels on sunbeds at sunrise here. Breakfast was good, great juice, fresh fruit and breads to accompany the cooked dishes. I would definitely recommend this hotel for quality and position as there were so many restaurants close by. And loved Kiki the hotel dog who was so sweet.

Everything was great, lovely (very responsive) hosts, beautiful accommodation, with very large bathroom, perfect breakfast. Our children loved the two cats, the dog and the peacock. We only stayed one night, but would have loved to stay a couple more.

We had a great stay! The rooms are spacious, elegant, and clean, with everything just right. The balcony was a good size and perfectly equipped, making it a great spot to relax. We had requested rooms next to each other, and the hotel team kindly arranged it. The location is truly special, one side of the hotel offers a stunning lake view, and you can walk all the way through the property to reach the beautiful beach on the other side. The pools are lovely, and the pool bar is cool. The team there is friendly, attentive, and they even remembered our previous orders, which made us feel genuinely welcomed. The buffet for both breakfast and dinner were excellent, offering a wide variety of tasty dishes with something for everyone. The setting, overlooking the lake, made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The selection covers most cuisines, so there's always something new and delicious to try. Overall, this hotel stands out for its thoughtful service, beautiful setting, and exceptional amenities. We would gladly return and highly recommend it!

The food (we tried the breakfast and dinner) were also really good. Highly recommend!!
