Our apartment on the second floor was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. We especially loved the small terrace where we enjoyed breakfast and drank wine with cheese. The grounds near the house were lovely and green, featuring comfortable hammocks and perfect spots to watch the sunset. The hosts were genuinely nice and welcoming. We also had a good dinner at their restaurant, which is only a five-minute drive from the house. The drive to San Quirico takes about 20 minutes, and the road is unpaved but manageable. We would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are just beyond beautiful and appointed perfectly. The lobby is all original from the 1500’s. So if you enjoy history, it’s beyond wonderful. The view from our room was unbelievable- all of the countryside of Montepulciano. The owners, 7th generation of this original residence, are wonderfully kind and caring hosts. Breakfast each morning in the lobby (which is a massive old world room) is homemade each day. It is steps away from the main Piazza is town. As a lover of history, it is one of the most unforgettable places I will have ever stayed.

Beautiful grounds and an even better host! Staying here was a true spa-like experience. Rafaelle was extremely kind and responsive, he booked restaurants and a wine tour for us! The breakfast was delightful overlooking the lavender fields and large olive tree on the grounds. We watched the sunset that overlooked vineyards with Montepulciano in the distance! We can’t wait to come back!
