Set in the hills of the Chianti wine district, this 15th-century villa is now a 4-star hotel with swimming pool, tennis court and Tuscan restaurant with terrace offering panoramic views. We booked this place so we could be near San Gimignano. It was great, the staff were exceptionally polite and attending. The location was easy to find, and we liked the countryside. The garden, the place for breakfast, it made the whole atmosphere tranquil and enjoyable. We had a connecting room, and the beds were so comfortable and big. We really liked the aesthetics of the hotel, how they tried to keep it looking retro, but all really modern and functional. The breakfast was perfect, lots to choose from, and really polite and helpful staff!

The look and feel, the food, the people—everything exceeded our expectations. The territory is big and has many interesting details. The waiter Saverio was very helpful and funny.

Everything is how it is shown on the photos. The owner left us a homemade cake and a bottle of wine which was a perfect touch.

Boasting a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and views of garden, Villa Mucellena is an aparthotel set in a historic building in Casole dʼElsa, 21 km from Piazza del Campo. We certainly enjoyed our stay. The Villa is located pretty far away from Tuscan towns, people, up on the hill - which is perfect for a quiet, peaceful stay. You can enjoy your morning coffee with a fresh cornetto, then sunbathe and swim in the pool which is of appropriate size. No crowds in common areas, just a bunch of families and couples enjoying their peaceful vacations. The Villa is located a 30 minute drive from nearest towns which are full of great restaurant and cafes. On Saturday we were offered dinner cooked by the owner, it was delicious and we highly recommend this experience. Location is great for people wanting to unwind and visit a couple of Tuscan towns. Not that great for somebody wanting to sightsee all of them. There are multiple rest areas through the villa and its gardens, you can find a nice spot anywhere you’d like.

Located in Radda in Chianti, 21 km from Piazza Matteotti, Pieve Aldina Relais & Châteaux provides accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared... Absolute luxury, gorgeous grounds - so well maintained. Room was huge and so luxurious. Pool was STUNNING and location was amazing too - right near gorgeous small towns and wineries! Breakfast was some the best I’ve ever had in Italy.
