Staff were wonderful before and during our stay. Good communication and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Fresh and locally sourced where possible. A delightful, tranquil location interrupted only by chimes from the bells from the local church (stops at night!), birdsong and cuckoo calls. Gignese has bars, cafes and restaurants and is within walking distance. Stresa with its lakeside promenades, shops and many restaurants is 15-20 minute drive away.

Dal balcone della camera potrete godervi la splendida vista sul lago. Di fronte all'hotel c'è il molo dei battelli. È molto comodo fare una gita in barca qui ogni giorno. Venire qui è come tornare a casa. Puoi sentire il calore di casa dal momento in cui fai il check-in. Il proprietario presenta dettagliatamente il percorso del tour a ogni ospite e organizza con cura la colazione giornaliera. È davvero un buon hotel gestito alla grande cura. Al ritorno da un viaggio, è molto rilassante sedersi in una stanza pulita e ordinata e riposare. Abbiamo dovuto correre presto il giorno del check-out e la proprietaria ha persino posato il cibo per salutarci. Grazie mille. Consiglio vivamente questo hotel se andate sul Lago Maggiore!

Really nicely located, well maintained property. Rooms are spacious, views are amazing, just outside the town of Mergozzo but close enough (10 min walk). Super friendly staff, nothing to dislike!
